If you're interested, Elsa Lanchester was actually a redhead, and they used her real hair in the film so the Bride is a redhead! (Seems fitting in my opinion) XD The wardrobe team fixed her hair to a wire cage to get the famous gravity-defying look.
Yes I saw her hair was red after I watched the movie, hard to tell since it was in black and white - but I noticed the photographers taken did show the red. I did this look almost 2 years ago go 🎃
You're so talented and blow every one out of the water with makeup looks and filming them. Awesome job. I love watching these. I feel like I'm watching a movie.
The intro is so spooky. The flashing strobing lights in the intro reminded me of the movie Thirteen Ghost. You are so talents. Looooove these video for Halloween. You rock!!!
Hi there! Awesome job!!! I have a few questions about some of the products you used. When you traced the line for the stitches- Did you just use a regular white liner pencil? Also, after you applied the 3rd degree, what product did you put inside the line you traced? It was black, and then red. Thank you! :)
wow victorialynbeauty this was epic im so jealous that you still didnt pass the nyx face awards this would of been perfect omg love love love it aaaaaahhhhhhhhh 😍😍😍
I was wondering when you were going to pop up! I love this video and cannot wait to see what you come up with next! Happy Ole Hallow's Eve 🌕🎃 ✌💕 Shelly 💋
I'm excited to see your talent, I don't believe I've really seen talent such as yours since my stepdad & uncle worked for Orion products in the special effects department
I'm blown away... i will try and replicate this, wish me luck lol You are inspiring! I follow you are all of your social medias and come to find out you're my husbands cousin!
Victoria Lyn Beauty I will tag you in my picture once I'm done ! I'm excited I think I can actually do this, the way you explain things step by step in your video makes it less scary to try out.
I think you are so underrated in the UA-cam community. You are such an awesome makeup artist and should have way more subscribers. Keep doing what you do. I love it.
This tutorial is amazing. Trying it for a party today! Two questions...if I don't have 3rd degree will using modeling wax work (and I assume I'd have to put that on before the white makeup)? Also, did you use regular sewing thread for the stitches? Embroidery thread? (I have actual suture, but don't think it will stand out enough) Thanks!!
+Holly Woolley yes the modeling wax would work too but make sure you apply some spirit gum before you apply the wax or it will fall off. And yes it is a thicker type of thread. I just double knotted and applied :) it shows up really well from up close or far away! Have fun at your party 🎃💋 xoxo
+Holly Woolley I just checked again and the thread I used was actually just regular thread. Not super thick but when I double knotted it, it ended up looking very thick. It was time consuming but the end result is so realistic 👌🏻
Wow - thanks so much for the speedy response! I've got the thread stitches prepped and ready and I'm very excited to try it! Last question!...would I apply the spirit gum and wax after the white foundation/powder or before? Will it have trouble sticking if there is makeup underneath it? Thanks for being willing to share your knowledge and talent!!
Im sorry, mac I know does test on animals, allot of other companies are cruelty free - I am not happy about animal testing, I feel very bad that is done and I hate that some products I have used do it. Im sorry
Victoria Lyn Beauty Thank you for replying. I used to work for the RSPCA so have witnessed animal abuse first hand, and I've also researched vivisection (animal testing) and it's something that deeply disturbs and distresses me. Do you still purchase products tested on animals, if you don't mind me asking? Some of the best quality cosmetics from the most successful brands are cruelty free, and it would be such a positive step if make-up artists with influence used them exclusively. I saw this tutorial and was so impressed by the skill involved, and I really wanted to subscribe, but the fact MAC products feature in it mean I'd be compromising my own ethics if I did. It's such a shame as you are talented and from what I've seen would be someone I'd find inspiring.
I just can't get over how talented you are!! It's incredible!
