    I’ve made me own spray w rosemary and a little mint. I spray it in my hair by the roots everyday sometimes twice a day. I’ve noticed a less hair fall in just the 5 days I’ve been using it. Consistency is key with this stuff and patience. It’s going to be weeks if not months before you start noticing any new growth. If you’re struggling w excess hair shedding then it should help with that fairly quickly though. You can add a lot of different things in your rosemary spray to make it more effective. Hibiscus and cloves are amazing to add. You can really add whatever you like to these sprays. Just do your own research. A lot of people like hair oils but I prefer sprays bc the oils are just so messy and then you have to wash them out each time and it’s just a hassle. I also oil my hair but I stick to doing that about once maybe twice a week. Hope this helps someone. Oh and also massaging the oil or spray in is very important. You don’t need a fancy little tool to do it, you can use just your fingers if you’d like.

    When preparing rosemary tea, it is important to note that boiling rosemary leaves for an extended time may reduce the potency of its beneficial compounds. It is recommended to steep the leaves in hot water for 5-10 minutes to extract the maximum amount of nutrients. This though, also has the twigs in it so I don''t know for sure but just to be safe don't boil it, I guess letting it simmer for 5 minutes is okay, but simmer lightly

    I think it’s important to note that people usually use minoxidil 5% not 2%, so rosemary oil is not going to yield the same results as your usual rogaine. Also, antioxidants are heat sensitive, which means we could be creating an even less effective product if we don’t monitor the temp/time properly. I’m not sure how long rosemary should be exposed to heat, but from a few quick reads it looks like 15 minutes at a simmer is promising!

    I have oily hair and had been wondering how to navigate using hair oil. It was giving me such a headache trying to figure out exactly which oils to use, how much, how often etc, so I'm so thankful you've introduced me to another method that might suit me better and is hopefully just as effective. This method to me is so much more straightforward and simple. I deal with really bad hairfall especially in the shower, and I'm REEALLYY hoping this method will reduce it. I would KILL for your hair density.
    EDIT: I still use rosemary water but I finally decided to try making rosemary oil too. I'm starting with once a week but I'll see if I can go up to maybe twice a week. I just followed the recipe on one of her rosemary oil videos but instead of using a mix of diff oils like she did (I'm broke) I just soaked the fresh rosemary in jojoba oil. Plus, I can use that rosemary oil for my face as well and hopefully help my acne!

      @lurategh 7 місяців тому +1

      @@Checkschmate To be completely honest, I didn't keep it up long enough--as in, I didn't use the oil consistently (I intended to do it once a week) and I only used it sparingly for a month or so. But I did use rosemary water every day for a couple of months, and sad to say, not much changed. Maybe two months wasn't long enough to see results, but I also suspect my hair loss has more to do with hormonal issues and so the rosemary oil/water probably wouldn't have helped me anyway? Idk. But a lot of people say rosemary oil/water works for them, so it's worth a shot to try it yourself! Maybe at some point I'll try using the oil again once or twice a week for at least several months and come back and share my results.

Spray roots after shower/washing hair and dry hair as usual. Or spray roots on dry hair right before bed. Dries instantly. Don’t wash out spray by using it before shampooing. On another channel, the rosemary leaves are mixed with cloves and they are soaked it boiled water only, not boiling them. I think these two different methods (boiling or soaking) are both great. I will try to use your boiling method too. My suggestion put some oil a little bit like coconut oil or olive oil or almond oil or avocado oil or jojoba oil, so the texture will be softer and moisturised, especially for dry hair.

    How to make:
    3 bunches of rosemary (around 30 rosemary pieces)
    6/7 cups of water
    bring water to boil, and then let simmer with cover on for 20 min
    then boil water again and turn off heat to cool down for 1 hr

    DO NOT go to bed with damp roots: not only you can catch a cold, but the most important thing is that bacteria is likely to grow and proliferate in a damp environment. Especially if you have sensitive scalp, dermatitis or other issues that could make it worst. Also, DO NOT store diy products like this one for longer than a few days. Without preservatives, bacteria grows like crazy in water. Nope, thank you! Rosemary water is a lovely idea, just do a small batch and then make it again freshly.

      Rosemary is a dht blocker (dht is what cause hair fall and male/female pattern baldness) which allows the hair to grow. It apparently makes hair softer according to a lot of people. Rice water makes your hair stronger. It's a protein treatment so it should not be used with too much frequency unless you have very well hydrated hair or moisture overload

I don't use any products in my hair anymore - But in my mid twenties I did..and I read MANY articles in magazines such as cosmopolitan - and it said NEUTROGENA was rated #1 - I believe it still says it on the box. My hair never felt just CLEANER. But I recommend using a conditioner because your hair will start to feel dry ( basically because everything's been washed away.) Give it a try - GOOD luck, I hope this helped. 😊

      Don't use any champions that contain chemicals, I just use natural ones

    Heyyyy boiling the water on high “to get all the nutrients out” will literally, take the nutrients out 🫢 it’s better to keep it on that low simmer for a longer time, just wanted to let you know also I love your videos 🫶🏽

      @@AudreyVictoriaI've heard that rosemary oil cannot be used by anyone who has high blood pressure. Is that true? So frustrating because I would like to try rosemary oil essentials for my thinning hair....

    Thanks❤ how many days I can keep rosemary water? Should it be in the refrigerator? Or my room is ok?😅

    Would I be able to preserve this water? If so, how long for? And does it need to be kept in the fridge?

    That's a wonderful tip, does one has to wash your hair everyday after using the rosemary water spray ??

    Hi, should I use rosemary essential oil directly on the scalp? Or mix it in with my regular oil blend? Some people also recommend adding the essential oil to shampoo? Please help

    Hello! I have a few questions, if I let it on my scalp over night, after I wake up, should I wash it of?? Also, should I apply it right after it cool or should I wait overnight and then apply it next day? Should I keep it in the freezer when I'm not using it? Ty!!

    • @SmallsTrini
      @SmallsTrini Рік тому +1

      You don't have to wash it out. You could wash it on wash day. You could apply it once it's cool or any time after. Put it in the fridge for 1 week
