Thanks, Anthony. Really helpful! I saw a power point where some letters fell off the screen and the remaining letters formed new words. Do you have a tutorial on how to do that?
You're welcome Yonason! Regarding the animation you're talking about, if I understand it correctly, you can create a similar animation using the Morph transition. I recently created a separate tutorial on How to Morph Text in PowerPoint 2016. Perhaps that tutorial will help. Do let me know or feel free to point me to the video of the animation you're referring to and I will do my best to help you. Thanks for stopping by!
Your tutorials are very helpful but unfortunately only to a certain degree. I use a MacBook and the Office 2016 power point for Mac is severely watered down version. So many of the features that are available in Windows don't exist for mac. Do you know any good tutorials using PPT on Mac? Im trying to figure out how many animations I can put onto one slide vs when its a better idea to go to another slide? I want to have a few photos and objects animate in and when I get to the last animation, I want to animate all the objects away to reveal a last image. Do I need to go to another slide? Thanks. Keep up the good work. Paul
Hi Paul, thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments! Yeah, I believe the Windows and Mac versions of PowerPoint 2016 are different. BTW, even the regular Office 2016 Windows version of PowerPoint 2016 is different from the OFFICE 365 (subscription) version. For example, the Morph Transition is only available in the Office 365 version. In terms of your question - if I understand it correctly, you should be able to do it all on one slide. However, since there will be overlapping images and objects, I would suggest that you use the Selection Pane (under the HOME tab). I'm not sure if it is available in the Mac version, but I would think that it would be. Basically, what the Selection Pane allows you to do is, display all the elements on a particular slide and gives you an option to hide various layers or objects on the slide. That way it makes it easier to work with specific elements, especially when animating them. I have a tutorial on How to Use the Selection Pane. I won't post the link here because I will be flagged for spamming, but you can find the link in the description section of this video. I've created a Playlist for all my PowerPoint tutorials. Sorry, I'm not currently aware of any specific PowerPoint 2016 tutorials for Mac. But in case I come across any, I will be sure to let you know. Anyway, hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any specific questions. Cheers!
