About Lajos:
I’m born in Budapest Hungary 29 april, 1991.
I come from a musician family I am the 7’th generation.
First my Dad started teaching me on Violin and then I went to music school when I was five years old. Later when I was thirteen years old I went to Franz Liszt Music Academy Special Talent Class. I played on lot of tours with Classic,Gipsy and Jazz music. I played with many musician’s. I am also doing tours now all over the world like session musician and in many bands and also like a solo violinist. When I was fiftheen years old I made my first solo album called “I Am Only Fiftheen“.
Budapesten születtem, 1991.április 29.én egy hét generációs zenészcsalád
sarjaként. Először Édesapám kezdett hegedülni tanítani 5 éves koromban.
Még ebben az évben elkezdtem tanulmányaimat a Józsefvárosi
Zeneiskolában ahol Szászné Réger Judit volt a tanárom. 13 éves koromban
felvételt nyertem a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetem különleges
tehetségek osztályába, ahol Perényi Eszter osztályába jártam.15 évesen
megnyertem a Radics Gábor magyar jazzhegedűversenyt, ami után megjelent
szólólemezem “ I am only fifteen” néven. 2009-ben két szólókoncertem volt a
californiai Silicon Grace Walley szinfónikus zenekarral. Az évek során olyan
nagyszerű művészekkel volt lehetőségem együtt játszani mint, Szakcsi
Lakatos Béla, Tony Lakatos, Roby Lakatos, Balázs Elemér, Tim Ries, Yoyo
Mayer. A világ számos pontjára eljutottam neves zenekarok

In my opinion it is a J The Jewish/ Yiddish song and not gypsy or Hungarian. A song about mothers. The first one, I mean, but not only.It is called Klezmer music.
Gypsies have traveled a lot and adopted many styles into their own style. You are right! It is Jewish
Not all yiddish music is klezmer. Since "My Yiddishe Mame" is sung, it is definitely not klezmer. It is even not a traditional folk song but written in the States in the beginning of the 20'th century.
