- Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2015. In 2017, Fortune Magazine named her one of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders. She delivered the second Vice-Chancellor’s Open Lecture of the year, online at 18:00 SAST on Wednesday, 28 July 2021. The topic was ‘The Idolatry of Theory: a defense of storytelling’.
