Paradise Lost can be predicted by looking directly at Lucilius. There are glowing purple lines under him that show which direction every laser is going to come from, which I think is more consistent than looking at the ground and reacting to the lasers
On the puddle phase, you actually want to overlap 2 or more puddles together. Doing this will prevent them from leaving a slow puddle behind when they resolve which gives more room to dodge around while the laser is chasing you. On his sword phase, you can pick up and throw it to another sword to do good dmg on it
What I found the best way is to always dodge into the laser for the invulnerability then go to the very edge of the arena and dodge for his big attack.
Throwing the swords to other swords will slow it and give a def% debuff, so use the swords you kill as help. Gopherwood has the same pattern every time (from what I’ve observed), so learning the empty spots can make the mech much easier. The orb drops from the sky will always be preceded by a pull in by Lucilius, which can pop the mines on the ground. Make sure to line yourself up so that won’t occur. The orbs moving out in a spiral motion during dps phase usually is preceded by a push back. You can simply perfect dodge them almost every time. Vane is able to get a ton of invuln bubbles off during the fight and can be extremely useful for the enrage cast to sort of bait in the swords attacking during the phase for any aoe moves to cleave down (they are squishier). The swords can also be used on Lucilius to give the def% debuff. The main killers in the fight are the in/out red sword aoes, so focus and dodge accordingly with the red colors. This last one is more speculation, so take it with a grain of salt. Unlike bahamut, full bursting when possible gives far better damage opportunities due to the link gauge maxing, so if you do link time -> full burst -> link time, you’re gonna be able to deal the most damage possible. Good luck and have fun!
Luci took a toll on me but i did had fun tho! Didnt get my first clear yet and still learning the fight taking baby steps at a time visualizing all the mechanics :) thanks for the guide I appreciate it!
If you guys still struggling or got one shot, i recommend slot in flight over fight sigil , improved dodge and nimble onslaught it will it will reduce some of your atk dmg but i mean if you not surviving you cant deal dmg anyway right? But dont change it to your dmg cap change like tyrany stamina or enmity or even supp dmg it would be much easier to fight lucillius
When he is down to around 10ish% he can also cast two other versions of his labor count down. One of them have you do the big orb small orb thing again but this time there will only be one big orb unless you are slow. The other one has you do the stepping on different coloured circle thing. This one is a little different and the count down timer runs fast. My suggestion is that when you are done with any big phases and you see him getting close to 10ish% HP, someone in your party can use an SBA or you can try to trigger link time to push him to the final phase.
My favorite fight so far. I tried to solo many time to learn his moves and mechanic till join coop and really became awesome fight when you predict what he do next and his mechanic.
Cause multiplayer mode is not working whole day. My AI carry me thru my first round and the rest of the night while I play Vane. Good job Cygame for making the AI so strong.
Is it just me or is it harder to look for a lobby. Before the update, I had no problems looking for a lobby for most quests. Did they region lock matchmaking or smth?
I've been running a tank sba battery Gran in this fight and it's done wonders getting ppl fresh off the fight to clearing it in a few runs since they get to see a majority of the fight and can adjust afterwards
I know my main is weak so I just tried challenging Faasan to see the cool new animations but I still managed to make it to 30% HP with Flight over Fight + Untouchable before running out of time to revive. This raid is surely all about defense, doable when you know all of his triggers (like his Dark Rapture raid) Having so much fun and loving this as a GBF player, hope they will release more raids adapted from the mobile game like this in the future~ (I want to see Akasha raid in Relink...)
I feel like if players want to play multiplayer on this fight they should have improved dodge maxed, dodge payback, and/or untouchable. Trust me if your not playing with a vayne or a yodarha these sigils just make everything a lot easier.
The game basically says play one of three cheese characters, get very very good or have a bad time. Then when you finish it multiple times with no tear drops I see why they made it a tear because completing this fight over and over again is so unfun you will start crying. Fight is actually fun challenge when done with non cheese characters but not something I want to do 50+ times should have had at least put supplement damage+ not damage cap as a drop because new sigils make damage cap sigils useless devs either just like inflating playtimes with stupid grinds or they just hate us
A funny trivia; "Gopherwood Ark" attack in the Granblue mobile is know as "racist attack" because Lucilius literally KO any characters that share race with other allies in the party.
How to win easy. Have one player have Yadara with untouchable, improved dodge, max quick cool down, max nimple onslaught, spam mirage on party. No Vane needed.
I manage to beat him on my first attempt with ai. Brah i have zero knowledge about this boss and that trumpet literally confused the hell out of me. But i managed to succeed I'm a Charlotta main, my ai teammates are: Io, Ferry, Eugen
The mechanics aren't a challenge but I run into an issue where during 12 labors the circles will reset with one left and I wont have time to get all of them (if it was a me issue it wouldn't bother me to much but there's no indicator that I'm seeing to indicate otherwise), during wing phase the AI doesn't see the 1 on the other side of the map and wont attack it leaving again no time to respond. Then during The End the AI would rather focus on the blades then Lucilius meaning lost of damage and ultimately resulting in a fail after a 15 minute fight which feels aggravatingly terrible. I want to like this fight and enjoy the challenge but the AI isn't helping at key points, and before someone comes in here and unhelpfully suggests "just co-op", I'm a console player who isn't about to drop 10/25/80 bucks for the "privilege" to play with others online. I beat the whole game solo, I want to beat this solo.
This bs fight hurts. Highly recommend having a Lancelot squad w/ 1 Vane or run Charlotta and beyblade around the arena. Also do not sleep on garrison low hp tank builds or any def/dmg cut or invincibility abilities they help too much
This fight becomes a joke if you have just 1 good ranged player for orb and sword killing and 1 Vane player with the CD supplimentary dmg build constantly taunting him and kiting him to the point of him following you like a headless chicken. Beat him easy playing Vane with a friend on Rackam both with randoms and with 2 ai (ai wasn't even very geared and were just support slaves)
The mechanics to this fight is actually very easy. You could definitely figure it out even without a guide. If you're failing constantly, it is a skill issue with your dodge or you can't figure out patterns. I haven't failed yet and my AI's do a great job at staying alive haha.
Terrible fight and endgame grind for just more damage cap. After 400 hours, lucilius has convinced me to stop playing granblue. Full terminus weapon AI team with very good sigils and gear and still failed 7 times in a row. I cant stand Grandblue's version of difficulty, if this is it then I'm done. Cant stand bullet hell DPS checks so bad
I totally agree with you there, the game doesn't tell you anything on how to deal with his shenanigans, the rest of the bosses are fine for me now in terms of knowing how to deal with their super attacks, tho whitewyrm still has a horrible bs lightshow attack but I digress, game developers just don't know how to implement good difficulty these days, they just create bullet sponges with AOEs and one-shots smh.
@@Dark-Flame_Master The game gives you literally all the information you need to know on how to both handle his mechanics and avoid the telegraphs. It's a phenomenal fight.
All Vane players will always have a plate at the cookout.
Dont forget Lancelot
Gran/Djeeta players are honorable mention.
Technically he IS a Cook and a Vice-Captain Knight
So cooking is not complete without him

Vane makes this super easy. Even at 50% from failing some trials its still doable. Fun fight ❤

Had a random run with you earlier, Pre sure we killed it so thanks for that. havent got enough tears yet but hopefully will soon
Lancelot doesn't have any reason to worry about mechanics and I'm all for it
You can avoid Overburst with any amount of burst. 1/2/3 or full, any works + link break too.
Mmmmm k. Those swords been goofing me up. Now I see
If only the multiplayer worked
It's actually so much easier with ai since only you have to learn the mechanics and even watch ai for tactics

Gopherwood was the material used in Noah's Ark. A variant ot the "two of each animal" command?
Beat it last night with Katalina. Her party wide invuln is goated

The thing is most coop random, too much Dying, yes their dmg high and can do mechanic, but too much Dying resulting in fail.
I will stick with ai
When are we getting a playable Lucilius tho
I want to reach this fight at some point but because I don't afk farm, I'm extremely far behind. DD2 will be out before I reach the automagod i bet.
