looks like a jetta perhaps even better i seen one on the road today in black and man im impressed!!!
Give it a couple years to prove itself and I bet you it will be rated for being very reliable.
Jd powers just rated the 2012 sx4 to be one of the most reliable cars out there.
The kizzy is built very well, heck they even anodized the door latches what car maker does that, seems to me they want to make it last. I believe the car cost a little more because they put more quality parts etc..... where you cant see. I see plenty of old suzuki still going on the road.
love the way this car looks what keeps me from buying it is the brand name bc there arent very many dealers in my area, the CVT transmission but i'd just get the FWD with 6MT, and the fact that it only has one engine, give me a turbo 4 cylinder and it would be on my list.
@mpgomatic i had accident yesterday and my suzuki kizashi wrecked, i lost 2 fingers on my left hand and 4 fingers on my right hand, the accident was not my fault because the drunk man was driving too fast after i passed the green light and hitted side of my car, i almost died but thankfully the ambulance arrived fast.
Great video as always. Were your test miles in 2WD, AWD or mixed?
Ski bags for the pass through?!
I haven't seen or thought about those in probably 10 years. Crazy!
It's pretty standard dude 🤦
in indian magazines its says kizashi has only 176 bhp.wel dey didnt say how much torque does it have
I have an SLS and love it! I hope they come out with a turbo model though!
I've driven it and loved it. I own a Suzuki (albeit a Daewoo derivative) and I think I'll pass on another one. The dealer's service department is very friendly, but the waiting room is awful and they don't even offer free coffee or WiFi. Not to mention, extremely dated. With a car slated to rival the TSX, they need to fix that.
@timtrain35 Thx! Roads were dry, so we had to test in 2WD.
@CoolLarkin You were expecting 45 mpg from a non-direct injected mid sized family sedan? REALLY? So tell me... how many non direct injected mid-sized sedans can you name that are rated at 45 mpg?
@racers115 Yes, it's more than possible. A light car like that? 35 at least.
@racers115 look at the new european Ford Mondeo
@Captainbob25202000
you paid 11 grand for your neon? Brand new or used? If that was used recently you got ripped off
@xxxn7zxxx That is very sad. :( My condolences.
I think Suzuki really needed to add more in the area of MPG if they really wanted to move this car. They are all but non existent in the U.S. because they focused on cars that many Americans didn't really want and they had pretty bad marketing. This is the first decent car they put out but I can tell that they were trying to go after that progressive VW crowd with the design and well executed interior, yet most VW drivers are MPG heads. Some models sell 40% diesel equipped. Try again Suzuki.
this is one car with push-button start but no hydraulics for the hood
@sexyboi5286 Aye, yup! I am working on a Chevy Cruze Eco review right now ... =)
@tcbecht88 Suzuki is a japanese brand with great reability ratings. You don't have to be afraid ;)
@CoolLarkin Well 35 and 45 are very different numbers when it comes to MPG's! You said you EXPECTED it should get 45MPG, and now you say, yes it's more than possible, but yet you still don't state which gasoline mid sized non-direct injected sedan gets 45MPG! So since it's more than possible according to you, then I guess all the car manufacturors of the world just don't feel like doing it huh? Since right now there isn't ANY mid sized sedan that gets the 45MPG you expect ;)
Starting at 3:00 it looks wrong
very measly gas mileage, i was expecting around 45 MPG. But 23? My V-8 Crown Vic can do better than that.
@racers115 When i drive carefully yes i can get at least 23
Really looks like a chevrolet cruze. Rear looks good, but overall design dosent catch me.
I like the car...but not the brand...its kinda like buying a kia rio because its a pretty color. or w/e. lol
@Captainbob25202000
yeah the closest Suzuki dealer from me is like 55 miles. Hell no I'd drive that far for service or to buy this car. Its nice but not that nice lol
@CoolLarkin And the european Ford Mondeo is AWD like this Kizashi that was tested? NOPE. Does the european Ford Mondeo have a 2.4 litre engine rated at 185HP like Kizashi?.. NOPE it's most fuel efficient gasonline engine is a 1.6 litre rated at 118hp (120ps) which according to Ford Co U.K. yields 41.5 mpg BRITISH gallons which is equivalent to 1.2 American gallons DUH? which in American MPG ratings would give it an MPG rating of appx 33.5 MPG so again, that's NOT 45mpg either! FAIL!
@racers115 whatever man i give up
@CoolLarkin "My V-8 Crown vic can do better than that". Really? From Fuel Economy (dot) gov website - Ford Crown Victoria - City = 12mpg, Hwy = 17mpg. Combined = 14mpg. But somehow YOUR Crown Victoria averages more than 23 mpg huh? ;) Seems that your expectations for other cars MPG's is as far fetched as your appraisal of your own cars MPG's. LOL!
@ 2.00 well bolstered front fuck it seats :-D
Eww i hate that cvt
