- Spring has arrived, and it's time to switch up your wardrobe! In this video, I share my tips on how to adapt any wardrobe to Spring and put together my own Spring Capsule.

I start by going through my winter clothes and seeing what can be kept from my previous Spring capsule wardrobe.
As always, I dive into my Spring bento bags and see what I can add to my wardrobe. By matching up past and present season clothing, I can clearly see what I'm missing and what I need to invest in.
After mixing some winter outfit clothes with old spring outfits, my current Spring capsule wardrobe consists of 53 outfits!
I believe in buying less but ensuring that the quality of the items will give me value over many years.

where I live is not far from you now and this year we had 1-2 weeks spring and now we are almost in summer weather, so my intense work on building a Spring Season Wardrobe was not very useful. Now I have spring and summer all together which is a little too much but very appropriate for weather changes as I think we will have cooler weather again before the real summer comes. Working with possible outfits combinations has given me a clearer view of all the possibilities I have, not needing to buy anything new but just one white trouser. Yes! I’ve been waiting for someone to style the rural gal! Yard work, muddy boots, hardy pieces… all the ingredients for a new take on looking put together & based on function! Yes, please! I live in a small town, rural and remote. I get that the color concepts still apply, but a rural clothing collection means color choices can be limited & adaptation is key. City style skirt suits are cute- just not really practical when you have to feed the goats and chickens on our way out for feed supplies …
I completely agree with you! Rural fashion and style is often overlooked but it's just as important as city style. Function and practicality are key elements that should be considered when putting together a rural wardrobe. Your lifestyle should always be reflected in your clothing choices, and that includes the work you do on the farm. It's all about finding a balance between practicality and style.

It’s a neglected audience … we’re out here- understanding color theories, body types, etc.; however, our life style truly dictates the pieces we wear & the options are limited. We welcome country gal videos- help us look a little nicer- while still being able to chop wood 😉.

Winter is still blasting us with frigid temperatures here in Minnesota so I loved seeing your gorgeous Spring wardrobe. I going for a little bit different palette this year and am gathering the fabric and patterns to make some new items. The brighter, bolder colors of Spring lift my spirit and help me make through the last days of Winter.

Great to see you adapting to your new lifestyle! I literally replaced my winter capsule for my spring capsule yesterday, encouraged by the beautiful weather 🥰 I found out that fabrics like wool are too warm for spring in my city lifestyle, so I've only kept my two most breathable light wool sweaters and replaced the rest of my tops with blouses and cotton cardigans. Would love to see more of your personal style and new life! 💖

I'm having a bit of a tough time with my wardrobe because of my pregnancy. I'm halfway though now, but gained more weight than I expected. Hi, I cN really relate with the pregnancy! 9ne of the hacks I discovered to feel good in this uncertain time is wearing a lot of jumpsuits & boilersuits. They look very stylish with comfortable sneakers, work with a sweater underneath at winter and with a t shirt during summer, and most importantly- can stay part of your wardrobe after giving birth since they tend to be quite size inclusive.
The problem you mentioned with the puppy - so relatable! I struggled quite a bit with finding a practical and spirit lifting outfits with two babys. My solution was going for a lot of cotton that can be easily washed and cleaned, as well as trying to integrate as much second hand as possible to feel more in ease when something gets stained (its a bummer, but it didn't cost 300$. Witch makes it easier to actually wear the clothes and not treat them as something too precious)

All the best with this new chapter! I had to make a similar transition moving from city to country 3 years ago. Hard to let go of the city identity within my wardrobe. just because I moved doesn’t mean I stopped loving those pieces. My house is cold as well, ended up buying lots of wool on Vinted too. Sometimes I just dress up for the sake of dressing up and it feels really good. I don’t mind the feeling of being a bit overdressed. ❤

I did a spring capsule for myself at the beginning of March, with lots of green (both olive and forest), pink (bright and pale), and blue (in denim, chambray, and linen). I moved to a much warmer weather and I had to add many new items which made increase it and it's kind of not organized. And in top of that I'm living in a van, so I have a tiny closet. I just started a bit working on bringing out some Spring items and putting away just a few very heavy winter coats and boots. I actually do not like this time of year when it comes to my wardrobe only because it is so full. I need to keep out many more items then I like because of the weather. From one day to the next it can be so different. So one day I still need my light parka coat, cashmere sweater and heavy lined pants and boots and the next day I can wear a short sleeve blouse and light cotton pants with slip on shoes and no socks. And everything in between.
It can definitely be a challenge to navigate transitional weather and figure out what to keep in your wardrobe during this time of year. It's great that you're starting to bring out some Spring items and putting away some of the heavier winter items. One strategy you might find helpful is to layer up with lighter pieces that you can easily take off if the weather gets warmer. That way, you'll be prepared for a range of temperatures without having to keep too many items out at once. Another approach is to focus on versatile pieces that can be worn in different ways, such as lightweight cardigans or jackets that can be paired with both pants and skirts. In my WOW course and blog posts, I try to provide tips and inspiration that can work for a variety of body sizes and heights. So, instead of focusing on a specific body type, I focus on helping people find clothing that fits and flatters their individual body proportions, style, and personality. I hope this helps! :)

No, I wanted to experience life outside of a big city as I've never done that and also explore Portugal further. But my dog definitely is happier and more fulfilled here. So win-win :)
