- When the stars came down to Earth and the panorama of the city burst upon our view in a blaze of lights. And just as the Kremlin clock tower was chiming the midnight hour, our plane made a perfect four-point landing and exit to a stop. We were in Moscow.

The film fraternity from India is received by the Ministry of Culture of the Soviet Union with flowers. They also visit the war memorial apart from the many activities they conducted while on the 30-day visit in Russia.

I studied at a university 300m from the Hermitage Museum(Winter Palace) and the Neva River, where that Indian delegation (Rajkapoor tried to jump the river and one guy holding his hand(joke)- a movie clip). On that embankment beside the Hermitage and another side of the river, you can see the Peter Pavel fortress on the right side and left side of the St. Petersburg university campuses and other famous institutions. The University and Peter Pavel fortress is a big island and my hostel was in the middle area of the Island called Srednii prospect(middle street). The island is called Vasiliostrovskii district of st. Petersburg, besides this Island Petrogradski districts and all commie elites, live in these 2 districts at that time.
