    I have had scapula problems for over 6 months now due to cheer leading related injuries and since starting this method I noticed improvement within days!!!! I'm dead set serious. I'm approx 3 weeks in now doing the exercises daily and I would say I have 90% of my strength and range of motion back. I bow down to you. I have forwarded your details to my chiro and osteopaths in the past week and told anyone who will listen. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!

    Awesome. I've noticed that in the week since I've started regularly working my rotator cuff muscles, my muscleups have gone from painful to painless, I have more power, and I can almost do slow muscleups on a straight bar. Pretty exciting! I can't wait to see what improvements come with this scapular mobilization! This will really help my voyage into the world of floreio. Thanks again, Ido!

    I am a physiotherapist and I support most of Ido Portals work. But this exercises may be not good if you already have shoulder problems(depending on your problem, of course). For prevention they are great, but if you already suffer from shoulder pain, you should ask your doctor/therapist before doing this.

      +Henry Arzola The belief you have that your intuition is better than the opinion of someone that has studied and treated the human body for years if not decades is laughable. The piece of paper they hold is not to be valued on its physical merits but what it represents, expert knowledge of the human body. I may as well pick out my own specialty drugs in the chemist based on how I feel about the pictures on the box.

    • @Uprighthealth
      @Uprighthealth 7 років тому +7

      I fully agree with Henry. A piece of paper represents mastery of a body of knowledge that is riddled with flaws. Modern musculoskeletal medicine has made a habit of over-interpreting pain as a sign of structural damage and deformity. The evidence used to justify these interpretations is almost invariably unreliable when you bother to look into the research. Learning how to interpret your own body's signals and gradually working with it yields far greater musculoskeletal results than anyone on the outside guessing about what's going on based on shoddy tests and images with extremely high false positive rates and a long history of overly catastrophic interpretations.

    Thank you very much for posting this. I recently injured my labrum, probably while doing some rotations in/out of bridge that I didn't perform/build up to properly. I've seen a lot of stuff about "packing the shoulder" on the net. Do you do these excercises conciously keeping your scapula low? (I can see that you give it full range medial/lateral). Great videos, thanks again.

    What would be a way to get my shoulder to heal and rebuild it if doing most of those exercises would dislocate my shoulder by doing them?
    If i rotate my arm backwards toward the backside of my body it will do a 180 and get caught with the front of my shoulder in the socket (partial dislocation). In order to relocate it i have to twist my arm and it's really sore the next few days.
    If i try to throw anything with it like skipping a rock or something it will completely come out my shoulder socket (full dislocation). In order to relocate i usually have to jump to get it to slide back in.
    I do not want to get surgery on it, as i believe it will worsen it and cause more unfixable issues.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
    Andrew

    • @jonjonjonnyjon
      @jonjonjonnyjon 8 років тому +1

      +Andrew Bocker I'm not an expert at all but it would make sense to me to do the same movements but only go as far as you can. Your goal would be to slowly build strength which in turn will build stability. As you get stronger you can go further and further. It will be a long and potentially painful road though. Don't rush it. Good luck!

I was put on a waiting list for surgery but instead have been following your work on shoulder health, specifically on active and passive dead hangs which I have progresses with over the last 6 months. I am wondering if you have some advice on which of these movements I should proceed with first, and which ones I should progress to later.

      Torren Lamont idk if he will ever see that, but i recommend researching and feeling the upper and lower back, to help keep your shoulders down and back. your arm is just a claw. but your upper body (excluding the arm itself) is the foundation of the arm.
