I have the 2023 interceptor and I am delighted with it, the style, the mechanics, its smooth engine and so easy to drive. It is also a motorcycle that lends itself to transformation with just four things you change and suddenly you have an interceptor650 scramble. In Spain the brand has entered very strongly and more and more Royal Enfields are seen on its roads. A greeting from Spain
Love the bike but not the tank . I think that the tank could be a better color . A chrome tank would look nice with chrome side panels . I know that these things are a personal thing lol
I like every single thing they've done. Nothing over the top. Quality stuff by the looks of things. LOVE the pipe. I thought it would be too loud, but seemed liveable. The rear end looks sweet. The seat looks great, although like most mods might get a bit firm after a while. The bars are excellent and tidying up the wiring for the switch gear is spot on. And, although I like dual clocks, I do see why many bikes that have been modded get the wee sceen. Looks cool and modern. Thanks for the vid and constant enthusiasm Tomboy. Love from NZ to you and anyone watching...a merry Xmas and ride safe.
Tomboy Great video! I love your enthusiasm! Adorable. The Interceptor is just ripe for mods and that Fastec build is very nice! Love the sound of a classic twin and those pipes sound great. The Purr is hypnotizing and addicting! I love your channel and I can't wait for more! Ride SAFE and BE safe Lady! 🌹
Again my favouite rider on my favourite bike, but this time on a cool custom version. An early christmas pressie for R E custom fans.Love your enthusiasm.Stay warm stay happy stay safe.
Great looking machine. I think you need a 0-10 ❤ rating scales for how much you like a bike. I sense you like all bikes, just some more than others!😊 As an OLD rider I do enjoy your unbridled enthusiasm for our culture. Regards from Canada and wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
Nice riding custom bikes.that sounded so nice. Your winter does not look to bad it is suppose to be winter here . But today is warm 63 and raining and lighting under a tornado watch.
Sounds and looks great (I really like that Enfield tank colour and graphics), I like the bars and clock, but if I was going to spend that much on a bike I'm not sure it would be top of my list
Nice sound, agree! Clean, simple stable - your enjoyment comes through. Not sure about the small digital instrument display, seems out of place - I would prefer a large clean round gauge better suited to this style of bike.
i really like it ,,but I think I will stick to the standard then customize it slowly, but one thing I noticed was ,,the suspension must be stiffer because I could notice a definite shake in your voice ,maybe it was the road surface.
Not keen on the bar end mirrors and tank paint but otherwise sweet for me. Ive got a Continental GT and the front end is the weak link in my opinion and this one seems to have fixed that. I've got open pipes on mine and this motor sounds great when unsilenced. It might not have much power but it sounds like a lion having a red hot poker shoved up it's arse. 👍
So, if I understood right, the motor with it's cc and tork etc. is all the same as a new stock bike. But really now, with having no dB killer in the pipes, I was expecting a better noise. Maybe it's better when you're on the bike, and not like me, listening through loudspeakers. If I lived in England, I would definatly do a Christmas Ride with you. My bikes don't get put away for the winter, unless I need to work on them.
@tomboyabit with the rear wheel on the front, do you have to put the widening kit on the forks or can you run the rear wheel with 140 tyres on the front? Is anything else required when doing this conversion?
It's an interesting bike, but the flat board seats are not kind to aging asses. I wish you would quit short shifting it so we could hear it and get a better sense of the sound. Overall a nice video.
Wider front end, wider tyre, handles better? Hmm doubt it, there's a reason most race bikes go for wider rear tyres like 205's but stick to 120's on the front.
Does anyone know if you can buy a rear rim and tire and just put it on the front to have the tires be identical, or do you have to do any fabrication? I have an Interceptor and I like the bobber look so im very interested in doing this? Plz pet me know if you do. Thx
Good idea from @lylemacdonald. A rating system for every bike you ride... from 🤮1 2 3 4 to 6 7 8 9 😄. Or maybe a Grin factor from 1😀, 2 😀😀 and 3 😀😀😃. This 650 Interceptor would surely be a 3 😀grin factor and the original, only a 1 😀grin factor.
You love custom bikes but you never day anything about how it impacts your insurance because off all the chances and cost for the bike we need to no insurance cost and I have put my bikes away as I am 72 years off age and have arthritis your still young Tom boy so it's the better weather for me enjoy the cold
Hey there! 1 million dollar question. Throughout the video sound of the custom bike is awesome, aftermarket exhaust is the main reason behind it, BUT, if you compare the custom bike sound with the stock bike @tomboy_a_bit rode before you will immediately hear horrible whistling noise coming from the stock bike. my bike is doing the same. and despite having another great aftermarket exhaust the horrible sound is still present, especially at low speed/gear/rpm - 13:52 Can someone say what exactly is that sound? Transmission? How to get rid of it? Thanks!!
@@MINTCUSTOM5 Hey! I changed the complete exhaust. I run it with baffles in. I also have DNA air filter and FuelX to manage AFR. The noise is more noticeable after the bike run for a while. And at low speed low RPM. Sounds like it is the sound of the gearbox, as it goes away when the clutch is disengaged. but the custom bike in this video doesn't seem to have it!
Bro didn’t go for adjustable front suspension and said they did the airbox delete but can see it still there. No engine mods and a heap of tacky bolt on stuff what’s so special about it? Don’t understand the point of getting a classic inspired bike and modernising it with digital gauges and aluminium fuel caps?

i love this enfield custom build
Love your enthusiasm, it’s so infectious! I’d lose the rack, shorten the rear end a tad and it’s a winner. Great job guys…
Sounds good. I've seen one review elsewhere and it sounded like a lawnmower. Always great to see the Essex countryside.

Amazing sound! ....and looks way better than original, thanks for sharing.😎
J’habite en Thaïlande, donc c’est tous les jours les balades, très bonne vidéo comme d’habitude. Merci madame
Have to admit it sounds and looks the business. I have the original one 1964. ❤
Very customizable ,they seem to sell well so must be good
Nice bike. Great video. Love your enthusiasm. Safe riding

I wish! -4* F or -20* C with eight inches of snow here.
Very subtle .Quite like it
I'm a duel clock person, but I really don't use them, and that look is pleasingly minimal.
I can feel the exhaust (vibration) through my iPad😂
it sounds so good
Fun 'throaty' ride , always a good-day when a bike feels right Dave nz

Need a very long tunnel for this one 😅
Tomboy great video royal Enfield costoum and exhaust sound good 👍
Am I hearing squeaking through that wonderful exhaust sound?
Do like that engin sound Tombot_a_bit 👍. Looks good too!

Maybe the bigger front tyre? Spring setup may be a bit stiff too, or adjust pressure. But yeh think balloon front may be the cause, looked jumpy...
Still the builder says the frontend more stable...hmm
😍 Preciosa,sonido espectacular.
With you testing so many good bikes what bike is your absolute favourite? 💯
Not keen on the bar end mirrors and tank paint but otherwise sweet for me.

I find the round dials more beautiful
Plz make a video for cb650r❤
The exhaust sounds good, but they keep the rest..
Hermosa quedfo, saludos
do you love touring on a bike or racing in a bike ,,, What is your favorite, do you think bike touring has become more popular nowadays
Did you like it have you tried a royal enfield shot gun ? Or the newer himalayan? Or cf moto. Just curious

@tomboyabit Hello! Tell me what tires you installed and did you make any modifications? Fork extension for example or something else in the rear?
@tomboyabit with the rear wheel on the front, do you have to put the widening kit on the forks or can you run the rear wheel with 140 tyres on the front?

I need this speedometer :D
I have the same interceptor, stock obviously, did you say you did a review on the stock version? Would like to see it.
What that rubbing/chirping sound? It’s tied to speed, because when you accelerate, it gets faster. Maybe an out of alignment disc?
Brake pads!
What size front and rear tires do you think we should buy?
It's an interesting bike, but the flat board seats are not kind to aging asses. I wish you would quit short shifting it so we could hear it and get a better sense of the sound. Overall a nice video.
Is that bike shed Dan who worked on jonsey
சிறப்பு 👌👍

Nah I don't think so, fork would be too narrow, that's why the guy said he's got a widening kit for the front forks. To allow for the fatter tyre.
@@AnthonyEvans-wl5ts Ah gotcha. Thanks for the reply anyway.
I like ... but £12950 is way more than I would be prepared to pay. I mean, DOUBLE RE's original price. I was expecting maybe another £2k to £3k.
where is the side cover panel from? how did you overlook this?
Sold out motorcycles.
It says on the the sold out website, the model you rode is £8995, didn't the guy say it's £12995😮
Dan said a brand new bike with these mods would be 12995 :)
@@tomboyabit Yes, sorry, I noticed after the one you rode was a 2020 model🤦♂️.
Keep up the excellent content you provide 👍
No, he said on a new bike, it would be £1295 to do the work 8:00
