Same. I had an uninsured deer pull out in front of me. Busted up the top cowling and bent the bumper. Insurance deductible is high, so looks like I'm fixing it myself. This video was helpful in the disassembly of my '18 Tradesman. Thanks!
@@BrandonClark563 Question.... I have the exact same bumper set up as you. I was able to get my bumper off by just removing those 6 bolts on the frame (3 on each side) and disconnecting the wire harnesses. I did not need to remove the grill, headlights or grill shell. What’s the reasoning for taking all of those things off before the bumper?
Not quite the pain in the ass I thought it might be. The reason why I'm looking at this video is because I myself have to go pull a bumper off a 2012 Dodge Dually truck. This video was very informative thank you very much.
Can I take this bumper and have the sport one just bolt right up? I’m installing this Friday and just want to make sure I have everything I need before taking it apart
Thank you. I bought a smashed 16 so it came with no bumper and I’m trying to figure out the harness in the front. What each plug goes to. Appreciate the reply.
Kyle Cheshinski possibly. I’m not 100% but if you can you’d risk damaging the plastic top part because it over hangs the lower bumper so it would have to be pressed up high enough to slide the bumpers bolts out of the frame rail to get the bumper off
Every video I've seen on bumper replacement has started from the top and working your way down. If there was an easier way, I'm sure somebody would have done it by now. Better off to do it the right way the first time.
This was the only video I could find that actually helped me at all.
Thank you so much, very detailed.
Mac Elliott I appreciate that and I’m glad it helped! Thank you!
This was a big help, thanks for the video.
Thank you for the video my man! Have to replace my bumper and can't quite afford a bodyshop after a little parking lot mishap. Well shot!
Thank you!! sorry to hear about the damage, but glad I could help!

Hi Brandon. Im about to pull my 5.7 out of 2010 ram. Any tips on removal. Im not using the engine lifting device.
Can I take this bumper and have the sport one just bolt right up? I’m installing this Friday and just want to make sure I have everything I need before taking it apart

This should work on 2014 right?

Is it possible to put a 2500 bumper on a 1500 ?
yes, but im not sure of the exact process im not sure if its a direct bolt up
How heavy was the front bumper, can you lift by yourself or does it take two people?
it's not too bad I did it by myself
Can i remove just the lower steel part without taking off the headlights, grille, ect? I just need to replace my lower bumper

I wasn't able to shortcut it either. Just how their made.
Sounds like whole LOT of unnecessary work, to remove a friggin bumper!
you'd be correct haha have to strip the whole front end for a bumper
I came to say the same thing....
