GSP's hall of fame video was released right before UFC 249 ended so it got over shadowed by tons of videos and had no time to shine on their channel. Is it just me or is he still trying to bury GSP?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't his video BEFORE the main fight between Tony and Justin? If you're referring to the youtube video, then fair but UFC channel posts videos constantly so it's not just that video's limelight taken away. Plus it's the most stacked card of the year so far, before a highly anticipated fight during a time where everyone is at home watching. I don't think he is trying to bury GSP at all, why would he? Plus he will apparently have an induction ceremony later this year after the pandemic has calmed down.
Does anybody give a shit about the "UFC Hall of Fame?" Seriously, it's just a corporate marketing ploy to self-promote by building "legends of the sport"(trademark) with some UFC corporate monkeys picking and choosing who gets in to their little special club. It's just as dumb and self-serving as the so-called "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and just as meaningless.
@@blazinchalice This is pretty much true. (Although people do care more about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, mostly because it's an actual place) UFC HoF is just a list and promotion. Until a group of journalists and industry guys can get financial backing to start a Hall of Fame independent of particular promotions and have actual criteria and analysis as part of the process, there is no real MMA Hall worth talking about.

GSP's hall of fame video was released right before UFC 249 ended so it got over shadowed by tons of videos and had no time to shine on their channel.
Is it just me or is he still trying to bury GSP?
They put him in the HoF during one of the biggest cards of the year. Also that's how they induct everyone that I've seen.
Today I checked UFC's official website and they haven't even put GSP on their HOF page. Weird. It's one of the simplest task out there.
Does anybody give a shit about the "UFC Hall of Fame?" Until a group of journalists and industry guys can get financial backing to start a Hall of Fame independent of particular promotions and have actual criteria and analysis as part of the process, there is no real MMA Hall worth talking about.

I feel like you could add Stipe to the list, us in Cleveland loved him but it seemed like his opponents were the ones who got more screen time because of Stipe's fight style and not having a "loud" or shit talking personality
The George one is really just a perfect example of how overly emotional Dana White gets.
To put in how unpopular Tim Sylvia was as heavyweight champion, at my brothers first ever amateur fight he was cornering my brothers opponent, reffed a few fights and did autographs, but he also gave me a free autograph and picture because I got a nose bleed and I was like 7 lol I have nothing bad to say about the man
It shouldn’t even matter who Dana wants to be a champ or not, he’s not the one stepping in the cage putting in work lol.
@mssheltn1 Oh because maybe he created something no one else compares to.
Dana don't pick the winners. The ring does that.
I don't know hence we’re a little confused as to why he’s such a pissy prick when his bum buddies don’t win, when it’s obvious to anyone else that they’re the less talented fighter
Only reason it matters is because he’s made the ufc as scripted as possible minus the actual fight. Otherwise he’d be completely irrelevant. It’s why he gets so pissy when the one he wanted to lose wins. It fucks up his script
Not just that, he's just the president of a company. His opinion shouldn't even be known, let alone heard. You don't see the presidents of the nhl, nfl, nba, etc, trashing the shit out of the champions, shitting on teams, etc.
I love that every video that talks about the UFC and Cyborg in this channel, has that Dana quote everytime 😂
The fact GSP can still walk into any title fight wants shows how good he is
N'a he scare to defend his title
@@maratong7753 that’s why he has the record for most title defences ...
@@maratong7753 Hey, don't talk shit about Conor McGregor like that.🤣🤣
@@user-cr8wo6vi8w jones and dj have more
What about Stipe. Dana was reluctant to give him a chance, and was super depressed when Ngannou didn't beat Stipe
coz he can't speak coherent english lol.jk but in all fairness, Stipe is not much of a media person, even tho I think he's funny, he's not the best speaker. I can't really see him going to shows, interviews, etc. And that's really what UFC wants, other than having good PPV numbers and popularity.
@@csilla3085 yeah but the fact that Dana can't figure out how to milk the fact that he's a fucking fire fighter just proves Dana's an idiot.
I thought Stipe was some European guy that didn't speak English
Later on I see he's just like any American with a family 🤣😂
@@LurkerDood Me too. I always thought he would sound like Cro Cop🤣

“She looked like Wanderlei Silva in a dress and heels” never gets old
@Roughman she looks like a guy, he looks like her left nut that she nicknamed Dana as a child and it stuck.
Sean Strickland, Colby Covington, Tim Sylvia, Tyron Woodley, Demtrious Johnson, Aljamain Sterling
Dana likes Colby
@@louisbland8561 Kinda, kinda not, he's got a dangerous mouth for Dana's liking.
11:00 Damn Ronda looks like a supermodel for a split second :o
Fr that was hot af ngl lmao
👉👈🥺
Ronda is the hottest female fighter in UFC. The other females look alright or like lesbians lol.
@@MrJohneblaze822 Nah she isn't plenty of other birds better looking than her. She's got a manly looking face and a proper square head! You need to watch more women's matches.
BuD MaN you are right there us plenty. I have always thought Tate was the baddest 🔥🔥
Gonna add Jan in here especially now.
Sure +1
Why? He’s a great fighter
@@jasonclark9963 cause he beat izzy
@@The_Poatan So?
@@jasonclark9963 bruh jan is a good fighter, but that aint the damn point if what he meant, look at the damn video, dana wanted izzy to win the fight because he love izzy, and he didnt want jan to keep the title he wanted izzy to take it from jan and it was izzy first loss
I would have loved to see a rematch between Nunes & Cyborg.
Honestly
Me too!
I would love to see Amanda Nunes and weili Zhang fight if they were the same weight
It would go the same way
A year later. The idea of Tyrone Woodley as a champ is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard
It's so unprofessional of White to comment on the fighters the way he does.
He's got too much control.
Like he cares. This isn't a fashion show. They act stupid they get told how it is.
Oh shut the fuck up and go cry elsewhere. Not everything in this planet needs censorship and channels of overseeing committees
@@MarvoloSalazar relax
Lmao get over it it his business he can act however the fuck he wants most of what he says is true though
Hes asked though
It's easy to forget Amanda Nunes was the unfavourite. Now... oh yeah. Can't wait for her fight with Spencer.
Also, still can't believe Dana traded DJ for Askren. Askren was past his prime and was a bad trade. At least DJ is beloved in ONE.
Askren sold more PPV and delivered more excitement in 3 fights then that little shit midget did in his whole career
Well Askren made Masvidal into a househo name after he got TKO in the first 5 sec and with that, Nate Diaz came out of retirement to fight Masvidal. and that fight alone is more popular than any DJ fight. So i must say that it was a good trade. Mighty mouse is and always will be one of the best fighters but that weight class is not fun to watch and he was to technical for casual viewers of the sport.
Askren was undefeated when he came to UFC. But DJ finishing Ray Borg with a mighty wiz bar is way better than Masvidal's 5-second flying knee KO.
@Steve Barnes Askren vs Lawler and Askren vs Masvidal were better then any od DJs fights. Askren vs Masvidal will be a highlight for decades. So Askren had more interesting fights in his 3 fight record then DJ had in all of his career. And yeah. Nobody gives a fuck about a man the size of a 12 year old girl. He can be skilled as a freaking ninja, but he is still a man in a body of a boy.
@Steve Barnes Like I said. Nobody gives a shit about a division made for guys the size of a 12 year old girl. Now Cejudo made the divison a tiny bit more popular, but it's still the worst in the organisation. 125 pound division should be deleted from the UFC, 135 should be the lowest. You can act as hypster as much as you want but 95% of the UFC fans don't give a shit about the flyweights.
Didn't see Tito Ortiz, Roy Nelson, or Nick Diaz in the list. Seems like he really didn't like them.
Dana treats the fighters really poorly.
Tito and nick are mentally 6 year olds with mega ADHD. Imagine doing business with either of them. Nightmare.
Ron Martineau Imagine making shit comments about mental illnesses lmao. You’re fuckin garbage brah
Dana said he tried to get on with Roy but he found him too fucking annoying and he considered Roy a dumbass.
Neither nick or Roy were champions that’s why they weren’t on.
Roy and Diaz never held the title you dumb shit. Read the title of the video you clown.
add Sean Strickland in an updated version
lmao I love how Brock Lesnar's clip is him rocking that MITB breifcase boombox.
