How could you not love this Thelma Houston. She should have had so much more commercial success because in addition to Don’t Lave Me This Way, she put out some really great music during her long career yet she never complains about it. There are a number videos on youtube that prove how her voice is clearly on the same level as most of the greatest performers in the business. One example is a live performance she did in nyc at the World Financial Center where she sings Ruby Tuesday and Let it be with a full orchestra and 3 well known back up singers.To me, it’s one of the best examples of how amazing her voice is. She should be very proud of how she did on the Masked Singer, although I think she should have been one of the 2 finalists. Thanks for posting this lovely interview with this lovely woman.

I'm blessed to be alive and a fan of Thelma I've seen her perform 5 times and she's absolutely one of the greatest singers ever and she's also a wonderful human being.

@@Thesingingpickle2 again, we are going with her own statement. There are many reasons information could be incorrect about someone's age for any number of reasons, but even other pages are now changing her birth year to 1943. We will quote the source over a search engine.
