Such an amazing build ! But more than that you are an amazing couple so, so inspirational and watching you two you can feel the love thank you for all the Saturday mornings 😜

I'm also in awe of that tool shed! Makes such a difference having the right tools for the job, I learned that the hard way as a kid watching my Dad do DIY with lots of improvised tools! 😂
Fantastic build series full of amazing content and craftsmanship from both of you, great teamwork from a lovely fun couple and full of humour, happy travels for the future and best wishes. Looking forward to videos of you getting the best out of this camper, amazing job well done. 🇬🇧👍❤️🛠️
Great build! I was in Norway recently on a motorbike tour. If you're arriving in Kristiansand on a ferry don't just scoot straight out. It's a nice place and worth a mooch. Roads are great and we saw plenty of people enjoying wild camping all along the roadside. Enjoy your trip!!
We need that Sainsbury's sticker back on the van cause it would look amazing like half of it too fool people 😉 love that you both joke with each over and play around as well 😁😁 fantastic craftsmanship you put into that amazing van of yours 🙌🏻🙌🏻
The best van build on the internet. Top quality, great entertainment, loving the content. My wife and I have now exhausted the entire back catalogue of your channel, so we cant wait for more videos from you guys. Anyway, tool talk Tuesday needs its own dedicated video. Keep up the amazing videos Jess & Jon, you guys are brilliant.
It's been so good watching this build. So inspirational and the videography is top class too. I think it just needs some Joy Horn graphics on the side and a shadow foam torch drawer.
Hope you both have amazing adventures in the Landy and the Sprinter. Been good fun watching you both work on the two projects. Looking forward to your adventures away in them, they are going to be Epic!
@@truebluetravellers I am envious. I love Scotland. Used to Live their as a Kid up near Inverness. Hopefully there is a video to follow. I would ask where you have been, but that would ruin the surprise, I will just have to wait in hope of a first trip video.
Love the quality of the video and the quality of the build. You two are a perfect couple and bounce off each other. Unfortunately I don't have the tools or the skill to do such a brilliant job, and also so quickly. Wish I could drop my van off to you for 11 minutes and get it kitted out. Cannot wait for your future travel videos.
Quality Guys - Had me laughing all the way through 🤣 John yr a spoilt boy with all them toys and that workshop 😜but Jess is the real star of the show (can't believe you let her loose with a drill tho mate😉) Keep em coming.. Rapidly turning into my Fav UA-cam couple at the moment 🚐💨❤
@@snoman1999the van has 3 big opening windows with fly screen, a massive opening roof light with fly screens and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We do actually have one of the vent slots in the roof vent all the time just to let fresh air in even when it’s fully closed.
Cool Beans.. just when I had ours in a cabinet like yrs, the compressor always seemed to be running when the weather was hot.. Once Id re-located it under the bed where it has plenty of ventilation, the compressor runs until it reaches its temp and then switches off saving battery life.. 🤙🏽@@truebluetravellers
Now done, please keep these videos coming, the banter between the two of you makes for great entertainment . hope you keep reminding her Jon ,she is a very lucky woman lol ,lol , lol
Have loved every minute of watching this series 😊Obviously the end result is fantastic and you should both be proud of that but I think what I have enjoyed most is showcasing that the journey (as cheesy as that sounds) is as important as the end result... I also think for the first time I have found people as finickity with detail as me and Megs (thats a good thing by the way) ... keep it up! John with all those tools you need a jetski already for your adventures!
Love the banter, love your sense of humor. You two are just amazing and should offer conversation builds as a business for those who don't have the knowledge or time to do this. Your work is top notch. 🎉🎉🎉
@@truebluetravellers I've done some camper renovations myself by watching UA-cam vids for tips and know how. I wish I'd watched your videos first back then as would've saved myself a lot of time and money. I tip my hat to you both.
ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!!!! seen as how you are not "allowed" a plasma.... I think a nice Bungee Wall picture/memo board would look FANTASTIC on the loo wall above the seat
Hopefully you are both now enjoying the results of all your hard work, skill, craft and graft. Jon the bungee boss and Jess the best Aussie it’s time to relax 😊
Just found you guys and hats off to you - your build looks fantastic, not over the top but your attention to detail and the level of your craftsmanship is top notch. Added to which you both seem remarkably normal and likeable (I’m sure you’re both monsters really! 😉). The perfect start to my Saturday and I can’t wait to catch up on your travels in the van.
Keep the vlogs coming we look forward to them , when you have been there about 3 weeks you will be completely chilled and used to the French getting up early morning and they tend to go to bed early in the winter months, your body clock will adjust . Steve and Wendy 🇨🇵

Rrrrrr man this is my Saturday morning vlog with a coffee what’s up you 2 hope you have had a great week you need to start daily vlogging 😂 another great vid you 2 are smashing it ❤
Well after being fooled with a mobile home . Going to give it my last try and try this build it’s just amazing yet you both work so well together. You both are talented 👌
That’s such a tough question, I’d say a pannel van is much easier to convert as you don’t have to make any doors or windows etc electrics are easier to run , and you can just do the interior if wanted, where as these need more work, but then on the flip side, for a full time van to live in a box van like this is hands down the best van u can get, so well insulated, so much space, can be allot more stealth depending how you build it
I honestly think you need an extra Battery for backup at the very least. I also believe the vans floor gets extremely cold! I wish I could remember the channel an American stealth camper builder fitted his van out with heated floor pads that just took the edge off a freezing floor rather than a source for heating the van. I just realised he had them under the leisure battery! He also had a recycling water filter system fitted to the shower. The 2 gallons of water goes through filters, I believe 7 times before it ends up in the grey tank. Remember heat rises if you can blow the heated air down you should get a more even spread of heated air in the cabin. May if you exit and enter the van through the cab you shouldn’t loose as much cabin heated air? It’s just a thought. Good luck with your trip.
Cheers Gordon, so the plan is to test the battery setup in Scotland, we had a whole day off yesterday in the van and the battery system held up well but we will keep testing to see how it goes, heat pads are a brilliant idea but they need a huge battery setup to run, the recirculating shower idea I love and I think it’s something I’m going to do in a future build as water is probably the hardest thing to source on the road 👍
@@truebluetravellers Ref Heat pads this particular setup just used enough power to take the edge off the freezing floor? If I find the link I would send it to you.

OMG Just stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago. Amazing build... now if I had a qtr of the tools and the 1/2 the knowhow, I'd be off to 1/8th of a start! Nice one guys.
🎉🎉🎉 No waffle about tools 🎉🎉🎉 Jess definitely get his lordship a No1 haircut might actually make him look human. Seriously though guys keep an eye on the weather if your planning to go up to Scotland -5c forecast before December make sure your diesel tank is insulated, have you considered putting a privacy film over the living area windows on a security note I would recommend getting a tracker fitted after all your effort JESS
😂😂 I’m glad someone has seen who does all the hard work 💪💪, yeah the weather is getting rather cold up here 🥶 but it’s good for us to get used to it for the real cold I suppose 🥶 what are we doing 🤦♀️😂
you should setup a business building camper vans to order, the quality is excellent and the turnaround pretty quick. You can use that to help fund your trips bu not only selling at a profit but also you tube the builds.
What a build, what a journey, what a laugh! Brilliant, brilliant, bungee, 〰️ brilliant. Oops sorry Jess 💪 a bungee 〰️ slipped in there - but you must admit it does look great. Fun, fun, fun guys. Dave Birmingham
I am GUTTED there was no TTT 🤣🤣 guess I’ll have to wait for the full workshop tour 💪🏻💪🏻 also the 20s Vs 20 minutes comment made me spit my coffee out haha.
Thanks mate, so the duck board at the front stops it moving back and forth and there is an air extraction pipe which stops it moving sideways, it doesn’t move at all to be honest and we didn’t want to fix it down as then it can always be easily removed to clean etc, our last van build was the same and we never had an issue 👍👍
What a fun 8 week van build . ( and I’m not even a van life person . Go 110 Land Rover defender over lander fan 😁. ) great video again you two . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🛠💪🏻🍻👍🏼😁🚚

Hi guys, Just watched your video over at vanlove, and just wondered how much it’s going to cost to ship your van over to the US, or if you have a rough idea ? I honestly thought it would have been crazy expensive. I’ve always wanted to do a van build and ship it over to Cyprus and spend a few months exploring, but I always expected the costs would make it impossible. I always thought of doing a Sainsburys van build too, as I worked for them delivering through lockdown and the vans are much bigger than people think, and they are extremely easy and comfortable to drive. Before seeing your Sainsburys van build I always thought it would be a fantastic idea to convert one because of all the space and the fact it’s a square box with good headroom and all the Sainsburys vans are always auto so they are super easy to drive. But anyway sorry for all the waffling on Do you have an idea of the cost of shipping over to the US yet and do you have any more details of what the trip might entail ? I can’t wait I know it will be epic.
Thanks very much mate, yeah they are so nice to drive, I was never a fan of autos untill I got this, so good and like u say so much space So to ship it £4K and that’s on a roro ship, only takes 10days, we are hoping to go into Canada and head up to Alaska and then back down through the states, just see how we go bassically 👍
I really enjoy watching your videos. Really inspires me to try to be less scared of using tools and trying new things. I had a question about the mattress you guys used here, you said it was better that the one in the defender. Do you have a link for it??
Hi Lizzie, oh that’s so great! 🥰 yes of course it’s from Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08N6LVKQZ/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_43S4Y14VMW1BZ350E2FW?linkCode=ml2&tag=truebluetrave-21

Great van and what an amazing job you have done . I did Norway this summer in my t5 but no way could I do the winter and would love to! So this is a great option 👍🏻 weight wise could i carry a 120kg mx bike across the back ? As would love to take it with me on summer trips

OMG Just stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago.
Amazing build... now if I had a qtr of the tools and the 1/2 the knowhow, I'd be off to 1/8th of a start!

🎉🎉🎉 No waffle about tools 🎉🎉🎉
Jess definitely get his lordship a No1 haircut might actually make him look human.
Me encanta!🎉 Me río mucho con ustedes jajaja
Muchas Gracias me amgio 💙
Totally awesome , made me laugh and now going to do the same
Thanks 👍👍
you should setup a business building camper vans to order, the quality is excellent and the turnaround pretty quick. You can use that to help fund your trips bu not only selling at a profit but also you tube the builds.
Sounds like a plan that 👌
Ha ha ha another awesome video. The design and quality of the build is truly brilliant. YAK YAK YAK ha ha ha wouldn’t want it any other way😂. Cheers💪🏻
😂😂😂 cheers mate 👍
What a build, what a journey, what a laugh! Brilliant, brilliant, bungee, 〰️ brilliant. Oops sorry Jess 💪 a bungee 〰️ slipped in there - but you must admit it does look great. Fun, fun, fun guys. Dave Birmingham
Dave I will forgive your bungee references on account of the rest of your comment be lovely 😂💙 thanks mate
I am GUTTED there was no TTT 🤣🤣 guess I’ll have to wait for the full workshop tour 💪🏻💪🏻 also the 20s Vs 20 minutes comment made me spit my coffee out haha.
😂😂 she’s telling lies honest 👀
Awesome build. Awesome build videos!!! Thank you.
Uhm. Did I miss how you've secured the loo in the shower room?
Thanks mate, so the duck board at the front stops it moving back and forth and there is an air extraction pipe which stops it moving sideways, it doesn’t move at all to be honest and we didn’t want to fix it down as then it can always be easily removed to clean etc, our last van build was the same and we never had an issue 👍👍
Yes yes never mind all that, when will my Sainsburys order be delivered? been waiting 8 weeks now for my Asparagus and Fish Fingers!
😂😂😂 it’s on the way, via Scotland 😂😂
What a fun 8 week van build . ( and I’m not even a van life person . Go 110 Land Rover defender over lander fan 😁. ) great video again you two . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🛠💪🏻🍻👍🏼😁🚚
Cheers Steve, it will be a nice change to get in the Landy and head for a warmer climate after the arctic in the sprinter, but looking forward to both all the same, thanks for coming along with us 😁
@@truebluetravellers .. looking forward to seeing both your trips . Cheers
This was an epic build loved it the quality you guys put in to everything you built was beyond amazing, so,wish you had a company making these and selling them I’d rather pay you than some overweight motorhomes out there
Cheers mate, yeah if someone had the space they could buy the boxes of these and do a good business from them 👍
Amazzzing so talented you two! What’s next? Have great week 🎉
Thanks Sandy, we are up in Scotland in the van at the minute, first video will be out on Saturday 😁
I have just watched your video it’s beautiful, I love Scotland we have 8 days booked in June just love it, the food is great the scenery fantastic I know you will have great time. X

The 60-degree wedge of the table closest to the bed looks like something which I’d def hurt myself on constantly.
😂😂 funnily enough we have had this comment quite a bit 😁
I've said it before but I'll repeat myself again, you guys have done another awesome job on this conversion, absolutely brilliant, you should have your own business doing this for a living. Jon which Dc-Dc mppt charge controller did you use, I can't see anything on the Amazon list, many thanks Lee

Fantastic builds you’ve both completed really loved watching. Can you tell me what windows you chose and could you let me know more about the walk through and the frame you made also the accordion seal please ? Love you guys
Thanks so much Jim. We did a video that shows building the crawl through. I’ll link it for you. The windows are just from eBay and will link those too 💙

Hi guys,
Just watched your video over at vanlove, and just wondered how much it’s going to cost to ship your van over to the US, or if you have a rough idea ?
But anyway sorry for all the waffling on
Do you have an idea of the cost of shipping over to the US yet and do you have any more details of what the trip might entail ?
I can’t wait I know it will be epic.
Thanks very much mate, yeah they are so nice to drive, I was never a fan of autos untill I got this, so good and like u say so much space
So to ship it £4K and that’s on a roro ship, only takes 10days, we are hoping to go into Canada and head up to Alaska and then back down through the states, just see how we go bassically 👍
@@truebluetravellers 4k 😮 that’s some price tag, is that one way or return ?
@@jasonwoolvin3571 one way unfortunately so to do it I think it’s gonna be a years worth of travel to make it worth it
What an achievement in 8 weeks.
Cheers mate 👍
I really enjoy watching your videos. Really inspires me to try to be less scared of using tools and trying new things.
I had a question about the mattress you guys used here, you said it was better that the one in the defender. Do you have a link for it??
Hi Lizzie, oh that’s so great! 🥰 yes of course it’s from Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08N6LVKQZ/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_43S4Y14VMW1BZ350E2FW?linkCode=ml2&tag=truebluetrave-21
Brilliant, but where’s my Sainsbury’s order. Disgraceful service I want my money back. Very well done, I’ll forsake the baked beans for your new adventures. Keep smiling.
😂😂😂 your delivery is on a bit of a detour…… round Scotland 🏴😂👍
Great van and what an amazing job you have done . I did Norway this summer in my t5 but no way could I do the winter and would love to! So this is a great option 👍🏻 weight wise could i carry a 120kg mx bike across the back ? As would love to take it with me on summer trips
Would love to put a bike on the back, that would be so cool 👌
