If anyone degrades or insults your strategy then they aren't a true trader. Every true successful trader knows that ANY strategy can be successful. If it works for you, and you can make money from it consistently then it's a winning strategy. True consistent traders also know how important positivity is and perception. Tearing down another trader instead of lifting them up completely goes against that concept. Most of those arrogant traders aren't even consistent. Anyone can make money trading, but being consistently profitable and making this your career is an entirely different feat.

Yeah I was just talking to my wife about this. Pretty much any strategy that is decent enough to gain any popularity works. It's all about mindset and discipline. That's what decides your success. Strategy is the easiest part, just pick any one and stick with it/learn it thoroughly. If you have the right mindset you'll succeed.

But trend lines bruh not saying their isn’t trend lines in trading but if ur basing that off ur strategy I find it hard to see how ur gonna have a over 80% success rate ever
Well said Nicholas!!! I'm 64 years old now and I've been trading for 14 years across a variety of trading strategies applied to Swing trading, Day trading, & Scalping. Every strategy yielded both profits and losses. The part that most people just simply don't get is the importance of Risk Management coupled with Risk to Reward ratio. The reality is that even if one's chosen strategy is right as low as 50% of the time, BUT one makes more money when on wins compared with when losses (even at a low ratio of 1.5:1) one would still be profitable. I was able to quit my high paying executive post and retire early just by applying this mathematical advantage in my favour.
trendline strategy is literally one of the most accurate way to trade.. because it's literally the demand and supply curve.

Your trendline strategy reminds me of a very classic strategy that not people today can have the same patience for or accuracy when drawling lines (causing lack of confidence in the lines that they do draw)

Trendlines are literally the best way to trade. Anybody who says otherwise can keep chasing their own tails trying to find a good win rate system. Trendlines are especially good in forex. I only trade breakouts though, because trends in forex don't last long. Horizontal support and resistance by itself is terrible to trade with, because it's arguably more subjective and hard to trade, especially in weird market conditions. Breaks and retests of horizontal zones never really work. I backtested trendlines vs support and resistance, and trendlines win by far. 66% win rate using a 1:2 R:R. I'll take it.
My trading strategy uses trend lines and I've only realized recently that I actually had a way to find edges in the market but the problem was having confidence in my market analysis and trusting myself

I personally know three Traders that clear 40k and more a month using a trend line strategy. Some mornings all I will use is a bounce of my AVWAP. Nothing wrong with what you’re doing!

My strategy works i just need to be more patient for setups and ill be able to take 2 or 3 good ones. If I rush it ill lose but waiting all day for 2 or 3 is literally key and stop feeling fomo

There are so many different ways of looking at the market. There is no holy grail strategy. If your profitable at the end of the month with your strategy, your doing great 👍
yes there is holy grail strategy but it's not easy to master it even people with 10 years experience can't master it.
The advice/criticism I listen to is from people I care about or people I want to be like.
My strategy might only give me 1 set up per week 😂....but I'm very happy....

Tori if you trade with a 200k account you would make 40k per month easy your strategy is unique and works for you negative comments are from inexperienced traders.
I don't use trend lines....don't use supply demand zones, support and resistance. I simply wait to for a strong trend...make sure everything is aligned and go in. I profit everytime.

The fact that you said the first 5-6 years were terrible speaks enough about if newbies should use trend line and breakout strategy. Yes the road is bumpy but after year 2 and 3 you should improve significantly
Yeah people who diss retail concepts are foolish. It’s clear as day that trend-lines are highly efficient.

the post and comment section i’ve been waiting to see. my strategy is different but highly effective and i believe any of my friends i put on i could make 1 million in their first year and with that being the facts i laugh when people down talk my energy
I spent a lot of time on UA-cam and buying course about trading strategy, with my experience I noticed that what works consistently for me was far different than most successful strategies I see everywhere. Most of them makes me lose trades. Conclusion : As long as you grow your account, what works for you is the best strategy you must use

Yeah, what I've found is that people in trading are ignorant A$$holes... id share my ideas with trendlines/patterns within the trend lines and everyone calls you a dip$hit but if you show them you have a paid for oscillators then they may listen to you... ( its almost asif they bet against you and don't want you to win lol... we are all here to make money help eachother * 😄 🤣
