What an absolutely brilliant film, in my opinion probably the best so far. Great demonstration of fishing in adverse conditions. Beautifully filmed and presented well done Paul and Chappy.
top angling mate in those conditions and a cracking net of fish and well worth the effort in clearing the ice, the two who have dropped the vid a dislike need to give their heads a wobble, proper angling
I can remember sitting in the car at 8am and the temp was -6 looking at the only swim fishable by a areator . Got the gear and had a blinding day catching lots while watching the ducks ice skating. Never too cold for fishing.
@@ianchappytube with that skimmy ice it can work a treat. Trick is to keep em hungry LOL anyways thanks for the brilliant vids you all do see you on the next one. If you ain't busking for a living
Matches....yes...that would be enjoyable.....curious...over here..to fish in tournaments...much money...highly expensive boats and motors are needed. The matches there...are they made for the everyday fisherman....or is it an exclusive club....like it is here
darran newman not me that’s for sure😆 Definitely not a pro mate (unless you’re talking about joinery) just someone who loves all types of fishing and enjoying sharing my experiences with you 👍
Hi Kevin, I myself prefer the natural venue but must admit I do like to occasionally visit the commercials to bag a few silvers just for a change. I’ll be back on the river or natural still water very soon and I’m pretty sure that might grab Chappies attention!
Horses for courses...yes...that style of fishing reminds me of perch fichin. But you seem to take it so much more seriously than I would fishing for perch....cups to dip bait in the water...no reels..very lil line..fish too small to eat... why???

Feeding the fish and the birds in one session. Braver than most this time of year!
Pole looks a nice bit of kit!

Dannys Angling Blog thanks mate 👍
Excellent filming once again.
Well done guys....
Great video Paul. Been Bloody cold in the area the lately. The beck has been frozen from bank to bank.
Well done Paul, battled the elements to put together a well earned bag of skimmers.
He did indeed
Absolutely outstanding
Tough going Paul. Well done. Nice to see you were in Mary Poppins mode, feed the birds!

That's the spirit
When the going gets tough ... send for Kozyra! Well in, big man!
All the others were out of the country 🤣
Or in the pub :-) @@cadencefishinguk
Champion ,not just about the fishing 👍🐟🐥
Well done Paul not quite the last min winner like against Everton... But still great all the same.
Those lil fish I see you guys catch.....any good to eat??
no.
Excellent one and all. Note! you had the cure for your ice problem with you all day and they only charge a slice of bread an hour . DUCKS
yes and no tbh...I tried the 'duck trick' elsewhere but only limited success.

Hi, what do you call the box on the side of your fishing seat which holds your bait boxes etc as I would like to get one.

who spotted the rat at 33:30, i would say you did well considering the conditions, but you are a pro lol.
Where? I never spotted it even editing....can we swap eyes?! 😂

Is that the rat or the pro @@paulkozyra4467 lol.
I saw the rat
U released them.....because the bigger ones are no good to eat?????
Pinkies????? Help me to understand what u do
THAT looks RELAXING...PEACEFUL...MORE POWER TO YOU...CATCH EM!!!!!!
Pinkies are the angler's name larvae of greenbottle flies.
Needs an SSG adding to that float!! 🤣
Paul offers his reasoning for it...
I know mate, was only jesting. Great video again on a bloody freezing day! 👌👍
buddy keville like it mate😉 think my tell tale shot must’ve been held up on the backs of those Skimmers (must have been solid)👍
Hah hah probably, Paul!! 🤣
@@paulkozyra4467 Interesting reasoning, Paul, but I'd still dot right down and strike at any dip! Excellent video though!
I much prefer the natural venues videos to the commercial garden ponds.
Can't please everyone all the time as the saying goes 😉
Normal service resumes next week😎

Still not cold enough to wear a coat?!
He is wearing several layers?
I’m from up north mate😉😂😂
Wonderful Paul. is it true Chappy wears special clothes during filming ?
Special clothing? Lol😂 suspenders??? Or battery heated long John's. Yes to the latter. .Chappy😄

It's all about sport mate. Winning matches based on weight. In winter everything caught adds to the weight so every fish is vital.
Cheers to ya from Oklahoma. For the life of me....o do not understand your type of fishing
You don't understand or don't know why we do what we do as compared to US styles? It's just horses for courses tbh.
