just watched my new dvd copy of she after a very long break from seeing it, this film & it's main theme completely capture the essence of being loved & being in love, this & also 1 million years B.C. are really unusual & haunting movie from my childhood.
I always had the sense that there was something pure and perfect about this theme. 30 years later I'm playing around with a musical device called "circle of fifths" then boom! I hear this theme.
I heard this song when I was a boy. I went to the movies with my friends to see She and this song has stayed with me all these years. I still get that same affect that hit me back then.
As a 12 year old at the local theatre, I was disappointed in the film, but Ursula, whom I was acquainted with from Dr. No, was, well, SHE was gorgeous, but no mummies, vampires and werewolves. Sublime theme song.
A theme from movie history that has stuck with me over the years, i can't say the same for many movie soundtracks.
Absolutely agree, the film scared me at the end, when I saw it many decades ago, but the music is utterly beautiful..
Totally agree, a beautifully ethereal theme.

Absolutely beautiful, really makes the film a joy and underlines the tragedy too

Totally agree. Hard soundtrack to find on cd and very expensive.
One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES! The Ayesha theme always gives me goosebumps with the harp build up! Absolutely beautiful soundtrack 💖
Such a wonderful soundtrack.
Another James Bernard hit. A beautiful piece of music
His The Mummy and Horror of Dracula are also unforgettable (to me).
I first watched this movie in 1968 and aside from Ursualla's beauty, I could never forget the haunting song. Just beautiful.

A beautiful theme for sure, but his jarring and dissonant soundtracks for the horror flicks are much more original and pleasurable
So dreamy
Beatiful
sublime
Beautiful theme
Beautiful.
