Hi Elaine! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the podcast. This month is a "no buy yarn" month, so unfortunately (for me) the rest of August will be other kinds of adventures LOL... I have been trying to skip buying yarn, every other month. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I just can't resist and buy the yarn anyway... LOL

Same here! I work with a lot of different colours for Casting Off the Cold, yet for my own choices -- I really do love the blue/green, blue and any shade of coral.
I love to collect mini sets and combine my collection to make unique items.

Cathy the scarf and hat are lovely. The gold yarn looks very yummy, glad it worked up well as well. I have not ordered a MM mystery bag in a while, but the ones you got are really nice. And how fun that they were different. I have never worked with mini skeins before. I also was enabled by Diane and am waiting on a Darn Yarn mystery box. I hope that my yarns are as beautiful as yours and Diane's. Love the colors in the first set from DY. Looking forward to seeing the top you make.

Hi Mary! It was such a treat to get the mystery bags. I had gotten some for my mother in the spring... but hadn't gotten any from Mary Maxim for myself in a very long time. It will be a lot of fun to use these yarns.

My mom used to get crochet cotton from Mary Maxim! When I was young, I loved embroidery and would pour over their catalogue. It really is one of my favorite places, and I still love getting their catalogues in the mail. Of course, now it is the yarn that catches my eye. LOL

Thank you so much! The stripes in the yarn have really been keeping that knitting interesting, and all those colours are ones that I love. (I forgot to say, it is Brava Worsted Stripes, Laguna.) Diane was a "big yarn enabler to me" LOL, as I hadn't even known about Darn Yarn until I saw her mystery box...

Each time you show one of your crocheted hats I think I really should try making one. It was interesting seeing your new yarns. The colours looked nice. I wonder how many different projects people could come up with with the same mini set.
That is an interesting question -- about the different projects that people could create with a set of minis (or some 20gram balls they make from their scraps). Would you like to see if a YT person can do a MAL with this idea?
That would be an interesting MAL. Or if you had a set that you didn't have a project for, asking your viewers for suggestions because everyone has seen different patterns here and there.

Hi Cathy! What great yarn! I'm in the middle of 2 moss stitch projects, one using mini hanks and scraps, the other using fingering weight cotton yarn. The latter being a baby blanket for a new granddaughter coming in January.
