Always loved this band. Whenever i tell people about them, i describe them as The Ramones on Whip its. Just learned all of these songs on guitar. Will post covers soon.
Yeah I've always described The Spits as Ramones with early DEVO tendencies.
Ive see em a few times, everytime is better, love this band
The acid was skrong that day 😊
That is one of my favorite life moments, that pogo was amazing, I got all my face full of dust, such an amazing time !!
Seen them on my 18th bday in phx az at the modified arts. Fucking awesome. Years ago. I'm 33 now.
I remember modified arts. I saw Small Brown Bike with Choke in like 2004 there
That was sick!! I was there for that one, behind the pit, a good time was had by all !!!!!!
Hope to see you in South Florida one day!
Sean and Erin grew up with me in Allegan MI, not Kalamazoo! I was a guitarist, I started at 13 and it came to an end with my illness years ago. I played for 33 years before my illness took music from me. Sean and Erin didn't play music in high school, they must have started after they left school. We used to get stoned and cruise South Haven MI for chicks with Ray and Eddie Brown, Sean and Erin , Bill Northrup and Jeff Russel! They were funny dudes and we had a lot of fun. I think it is great that they did so well in music!
L.E.White Jr. Highschool. :) The memories we have my friend, we have those forever!
@@dianestrong8627 Why don't they ever mention Allegan? They tell people they are from K-ZOO or Seattle. We are talking about putting a reunion party together and asking them to come home to play it!
Nice. 😁
so rad
The Spits live at Now That's Class on the tiny bar stage was the greatest show I've ever seen.

No E who needs that string in the first 2 minutes, clever guy
You can hear the care the stage crew placed in getting the sunglasses back to the rightful owner At 13:19 when they accurately describe the man who lost them.
Last time i seen em was @ ej's in rip city 97? First time u district underground? Might of seen them at el Corazon since way back when

Check out the album "Best of The Spits" here on youtube. All of these songs are on there.
@@Deeznutseighthundredthirty whats the first song, i looked through most of their albums but cant seem to find it
I just found out about these guys and picked up Kill the Kool in March 2020. As a metal head every once in awhile a punk band comes out that kicks my ass for a few years. The Spits are going to kick my ass for the rest of my life. Unfuckingreal man! This is the TRUTH!! Johnny Ramone has gotta be smiling down on this.
Fuck yeah you and me agree on that shit. Punk and Metal are strange but perfect bedfellows.
This is the way
Spits come out full speed like a fucking 50 cal, their catchy and simple songs mixed with the ripping guitars throw me into the unknown
