I started to question Dr. OZ more when OPRAH was suing folks for linking her name, to his endorsements on false marketing pages.
Dr Oz doesn't seem to care about the effect of what he says on society, he just wants you to tune in and buy more of whatever he's being paid to push.
Fits right in with Trumpism. Huh, looks like it was here with us all along.

"Should" won't work, since:
1. that's a voting rights test, and
2. no one would be able to agree on the questions.
(My mother and I 100% agree that there should be a competency test to be able to vote, but can't agree on the questions. She says that dates are no important, but I think it's important to know what years things happen in.)

Nowhere else on earth does celebrity convey credibility. Here in Canada, Kevin O’Leary (Shark Tank) thought to try that theory out and run for national leadership. That lasted about a week. He was shown the reality of how Canadians view celebrity/credibility almost instantly. He dropped out quickly and is still dealing with the financial fallout of his campaign finance debacle.
My first reaction when i learnt that Oz was running for senate, was "Huh, must be running for GOP" . And I wasn't wrong. After all that's the only party where "As seen on TV" is your only qualification.

I'm from Pennsylvania, and I despise Dr. Oz and his Victimization Complex.
In order to run in PA, Dr. Oz -- whose residence is technically still in NJ -- changed his voter registration to his parents-in-law's address in PA. Seems like that should be considered voter fraud. I have relatives who live on the complete opposite side of the US from me. Can I change my voter registration to their address and (as long as I no longer vote in my residency state) vote in elections a couple thousand miles away from me?
Somebody needs to do surveillance on Dr Oz and see where he spends the night at.

Interesting point. People could target swing states this way in a coordinated effort. Use the surplus of a red state to flip a blue state or vice versa. Think of it: if you play this well, you will end up with a one-man-one-vote system, something known in other parts of the world as a democracy.

If you register to vote somewhere you don't reside/live for more than 50% of the time you have committed a crime. If Oz doesn't actually live with the inlaws he could face charges

Less than two thirds of people will vote in any election. Maybe we have to tie voting in with getting a tax refund to spur turnout.
