You make this look easy ;) I don't manage to get so low in my tilt, not even close... I guess just a matter of training. Anyways, thank you so much! Great channel...
@Joseph Stalin Hmm. If the hand is at waist level but in front of the body, there is a posture called Shan Tong Bei in our Taiji 108 that may be similar, but it is hard to say. There are many postures and combinations in Chinese wushu.
@Joseph Stalin This seems like a northern style. I have seen this posture before but it fits more with Shaolin than in our system. I am not sure of its specific name.
Aim for getting as much movement from the hips as you can. The side of the body will get closer to the leg first, regardless if you touch your shoulder to your knee. For the depth just keep the knees and hips open with the weight dropping through the feet. This is more of a strength issue. The flexibility will come naturally when the lower body is stable and deep.
@@smack9516 the point is: it is not genuine. why wearing specific clothes for specific exercises? It makes them not more special or better. a deathlift has the same mechanics as a horse stance for example. the greeks exercised naked, guess why? to be just natural 🙂

Thank you! It seems hard at first. I still struggle with my one side occasionally. :) Keep going!

How does this translate to people who are not that flexible or not low in mabu?

imitation of foreign cultures wont make the techniques more valid. can a cowboy do the same exercises?
Of course, it is a horse stance after all. Though I don't think that blue jeans would be as flexible for the low postures. 😆
WTF is your point?😂😂😂
