The Denali is actually a zip-in liner for The North Face Mountain jacket and The North Face Mountain Guide jacket. The snap tabs on the cuffs snap into an elastic loop in the shell jackets sleeves. That's why these things are cut so boxy and squared. Used together (insulating liner&hard shell) as an extreme weather climbing jacket, a pretty heavy duty piece equipment even by today's standard.

Hmm interesting on the sizing. Don’t like when sleeves drag like that. I’m 5’4 and if I get an extra small it looks like the sleeves are going to drag like on yours.

@@llSkyzxll 100% yes. It’s a nice durable fleece and when it gets too warm that’s where the pit zippers kick in to ventilate. I’ve been using this jacket almost every day ever since I got it.
Ya’ll guys in America get the good stuff the one here in Europe is way less jacket like and doesn’t have the underarm zippers. 😓 it also looks a lot more black and fitted to wear something underneath.

@@bramsta Hij is warm genoeg!, ook als een onderlaag voor mijn 1994 mountian jacket is hij perfect. Ik zou alleen willen dat hij de zelfde pasvorm en features heeft van de gene in de video. Deze ziet er namelijk meer jas achtig uit en die van Nederland is meer een vest. Vraag me ook af of deze warmer en dikker is. Die ik heb is namelijk net goed voor onder 10 graden weer, verder krijg ik het zonder shell snel koud. Ik zou ook one size up gaan want bij mij viel hij best klein uit.

The snaps near the wrists are because its part of a 3 in 1 jacket. It can be zipped into the "1990 Mountain Jacket" to act as a liner for that shell.

Definitely premium. I’ve had some of my friends try it on and they’ve all complimented on how comfy it felt on them. Above average fleece for sure.
