is it necessary to turn on image stabilizer in lense for bird shoot because anyways shutter speed will be high? does image stabilizer in high shutter speed reduce sharpness of the image?

Keeping IS ON always is a good idea...if you are already getting high shutter speed of 1/1000 and above, then honestly IS will not help a lot...That said, IS and high shutter speed will not have any impact on sharpness of image.
