This is simply a band-aid/temporary solution. Long term permanent solution required is to bring back affordable housing, open the job market and provide free education for skills on demand for the new labor force and try to jump-start the economy...
This seems like the most humane and fiscally responsible solution for homeless families. I like the direction the mayor is heading in with regards to the homeless crisis. Funding homeless groups and putting drug addicts up in hotel rooms was a total failure.
Are you high? They're going to ruin those trailers instantly because they think it will protect them from eviction. That's why they're in the mess they're in, because they are gross

What happened to the last parking lot with rvs? They never even put people in then, now they are buying more??? Wake up people millions for donated rvs?? Cmon!!!!

This does nothing to solve the problem and only encourages it to continue. There are cheaper places to temporarily house homeless families than expensive motor homes and trailers.
So beautiful! CA needs to add a 10% payroll tax to get a few million of these and open state run free stores for the disadvantaged. Working people need to stop being selfish and chip in.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! Salut Mayor Todd. Tiny homes and trailers are the answers to solve the homeless issue

I wonder if one can just show up in their vehicle and park for the night?
One has to sign up first

Great job Mayor Todd. It's not easy being homeless. I and my family were in that situation 7 years ago.
