100% agree. Wish it was smaller but wow, what an amazing quality piece. I have a 20cm wrist so I can easily wear. I had to get the chrono as well. Love the bracelet too. A+ for Pagani. Great review.
Très sympa et dommage qu'il ne mettent pas un pt5000 plutôt que le sempiternel nh35... Le cadran comme sur la powermatic est vraiment bien fait. Merci pour la vidéo.
Quite a big fan of this one! I understand the cost etc in comparison to the original but I do think it has place in the market! I'll be reviewing it next week and already have the chrono version on the way!
I think especially interesting when 1) you consider that Pagani prices often drop below $100 in the sales and 2) that Pagani tends listen to criticism and often do a v2 and even a v3. I would wait to see if there is a newer version in 6 or so months that may address some of these issues.
This is definitely a nice homage but having the original and currently saving up for the chronograph version of the PRX. This is a pass for me. Nothing wrong with it because its a solid watch but I've already fallen in love with the original. Great review though. Keep up the great work. Cheers!
38mm is a nod to the width of the BEZEL and not the case. A bit misleading to state 38mm in the watch description though. A very average offering by Pagani Design.
Thanks for this presentation video. I think this Pagani is good but the dial is quite tasteless with no texturing surface. I like the case and the bracelet but for me is not a prx killer.
Bonne année Olivier! Sadly this is another release by Pagani Design screwed up by the way the date window is incorporated, at least to my eyes. The date window with a blank space instead of a litte truncated index next to it like the real PRX has is a no no for me.
Why do Pagani Design watch sellers keep trying to state misleading dimensions when that spec is easily checked. If you want to make a faithful homage including following the exact same sizes, because that's what sells, why claim otherwise and annoy more potential buyers?
So a big disappointment of sneaky size misstatement. The Casio Edifice 108D on Amazon for under $90 is also big, albeit much slimmer (as a quartz) at 8.6mm.
Fooling people, so Pagani...Jolly good work of investigation Olivier. That's why and with no hesitation I buy the (quartz) real McCoy. The PRX offers exceptional value for money, not to mention the pleasure of wearing an original work that bears real know-how resulting from long years of experience and creativity. There is a real respect for the customer at Tissot.
Thank you very much my friend! This is not a bad watch, but the dimension thing is really something people ought to know about. Yes, the quartz is very nice as well, crossing my fingers for the 35mm Powermatic 80 version that's supposed to come out later this year
Not a bad watch, a bad company. For those who are not put off by the 40mm size, I would prefer the Citizen TSUYOSA, it has a mechanical movement, a choice of beautiful dial colors and a very contained price, all signed by a real brand. I remain convinced that the cheap is always too expensive
I hope you realize that the Tissot PRX is entirely made from Chinese sourced parts which are assembled in Switzerland (at expensive hourly rates) to make it fit with the Swiss Made regulation. This doesn’t make it a bad watch though.
@@cedarcanoe Thank you for your interesting comment. Reread! I said "not a bad watch" although it's more of a vile copy than a tribute. I leave you entirely responsible for the rest of your allegation . Also, I don't quite see the connection to my comment. Please take this as a friendly and measured response.
I love how pagani gets all the brand fanboys jealous. They show they can make the "same" watch, at lower cost and still decent quality. For some people, like me, i dont care about the "history" of a brand, as long it looks good, i'm happy.
I can almost feel the disappointment when you measure the watch. Not that there is anything wrong with making a 40mm watch, but to then sell it as a 38mm - that's not on. Pagani is once again guilty of false advertising to sell more watches. Shame.
If you went to a French bar with that watch? Would you pull a French chick? Ask that question, then assess the watch haha :) Eg does it have the pull factor haha
When you are in a French bar, grab her hand with the hand your watch is sitting on your wrist, and have her move her hands in between your legs… your watch just brought you good luck, you fools
Pagani has had success in numbers in the knock off business, i own many of them. but they have cheaped out on lume forever (and some on their bracelets) vs many "competitors" like steeldive., this looks like the same sharp-edged bracelet they've been using for years on their ap knock offs, with the stuck links. C3 lume ? it really doesn't look like it on the video, i'll believe it when I see it. The actual prx is not That expensive. If you really own only one or two watches and can afford the real one, i see it on sale for about 500 with the waffled dial. I do really like the brushed dial, which is only available on the chrono at tissot as far as I can, see so I'll wait a bit and probably pick this one up when it hits $60 in a few months. I prefer 40mm so that's a plus for me.
Great to see this one and great that you had the personal knowledge to be able to compare it to the original.
100% agree. Wish it was smaller but wow, what an amazing quality piece. I have a 20cm wrist so I can easily wear. I had to get the chrono as well. Love the bracelet too. A+ for Pagani. Great review.

Not my cup of tea but I always appreciate your honest reviews my friend Thanks as always 👍
Thank you 😁
Oh I love this one. It's very classy

Effectivement d’accord avec ta conclusion, 40mm n’était pas un bon choix de Pagani design 37,38 aurait été plus adapté.
Bonne année Olivier! Sadly this is another release by Pagani Design screwed up by the way the date window is incorporated, at least to my eyes. The date window with a blank space instead of a litte truncated index next to it like the real PRX has is a no no for me.
I agree, its one of those little details that once seen will draw your eye every time you look at the watch.
Thanks for the review

Totally, I'll take a look at that one
Does that bracelet pull hairs?
Nope 😁

Totally my friend, I really went into this review thinking it would be a 38mm!
At this point, price wins my friend. End of story.
My takeaway is that this watch "...is not baaaaddd..." said in a very hesitant tone.
😂
The bezel is 38mm, the case is 40mm.
Yes I know, in that case the watch is 40mm
Terribly misleading Pagani Design "shell game" watch. Sad.
Yep, that's why I really thought I had to talk about this one so people know what they ate getting into
If you went to a French bar with that watch? Would you pull a French chick? Ask that question, then assess the watch haha :) Eg does it have the pull factor haha
Trust me, 99.99% of girls, French or other nationalities, couldn't give a rats arse about your watch
@@Horologique Haha, true. Was joking!
When you are in a French bar, grab her hand with the hand your watch is sitting on your wrist, and have her move her hands in between your legs… your watch just brought you good luck, you fools
Sorry Olivier, I think it's tat. Isn't it about time people ignored Pagani?
Thank you @horologique. Great and fair review. I decided to not buy because original TRX wears bigger on me.
