Sucks that the March FX 1.5-15 was viewed as having such an unfair advantage that it was disqualified for use in GP. It really is the best GP optic currently on the market.
Agreed. I'm shocked at with how much some individuals spend on builds- and they've never even heard of any March models. Truly incredible designs and quality of glass.
The rule states "Variable power optics with higher than 8.5x may be used with the provision that the lowest power available is 1.5x or below. The addition of a secondary optic will not qualify as meeting the 1.5x or below criteria." Basically if you want to run higher than a 1-8x, like a 1-10x, you cannot have an offset or 12 o'clock red dot. 1-8x or less you can. Next year the low end must be 1.1x or less which knocks out the march 1.5-15x.
@zlink8 the way that's written sounds less like you can't run a piggyback on a 1-10 and more like "a piggyback RDS doesn't count as 1x if you're running a 2-12 or 2.5-10"
Well shoot looks like I need a 1x10 now lol. When I did the 700-800 yard shots, it got hard to see the dirt plumes on misses, I wonder if an extra 2x will help.
Thanks for the feature and the fierce competition!

Great video brother!
Cool video and great to see these shooters talk about how they view their specific guns fitting into their divisions.
Lot of good dudes in this video
Great content as always John!
Great Video!
Love the video, could you maybe give us one or two of your live and dry fire drills that you do as sort of a baseline? Thank You!
great video!
Scott's a great dude
Why not a thunderbeast bipod? Quick deploy, doesn’t fold up inadvertently, can setup at 45 degrees
It’s slow
@ have you ran one ? They quick deploy just like the Harris and twice as fast to stow as the atlas since it’s a one lever press stow
I see Jon. I click.
So you can have a 1x10 LVPO now? When I read the rules for my QP match it said only maximum 1x8 LVPO.
It’s either 1.5-8 or 1-10. Cannot do 1.5-10 but you can do 1-10.
Although it seems next year they are strictly doing 1x on the low end

@@zlink8 I believe you can have an offset dot on any optic but it doesnt count as the 1x
