just found a solution after all of these didnt work, just right click on ea fc in steam then click properties then validate game files, i had 6 errors then it fixed for me now it works fine@@shadoow411

Maybe your game file isn’t actually installed in the file u selected. Find the actual file path when you select “browse local files” and make sure you choose that file to repair
