Did u keep the gulab jamuns in fridge. If so den GJ wil turn hard aftr frying in ghee n kiping in fridge bcz ghee becoms hard after cooling

@@asawarigawade3713 u must hav boiled d syrup for a long tym so it becam thick. Syrup shud b thin same lik how v make for sugar
@@SwarrasSweetDelights ...may be...as I am doing 1st time I dnt know even to make sweet syrup...few days back I made til laddu...I make jaggery syrup by following method...can same method be used for making Gulab jamun? For 5spoons til laddu...I took pan and added 2tsp ghee and 2spoon Jaggery and 2tsp water ...and keep stirring it ..and to test it I put drop of hot jaggery in water ..it was perfect spot and did not skatter in water...and then I added til...so can I use same method to make jaggery syrup for gulab jamun..

Hello Swara...ur receipe is very gud and hence I tried making today...however my GJ became hard...can u advice what might had went wrong...this is 1st time I made ...and that too with ur receipe...also please advice which brand of milk powder to use...
I can't tel u exactly how ur gulab jamuns turned hard but key points to remember 👉 u shud use milk powder only & not dairy whitener. There is difference between milk powder n dairy whitener. As dairy whitener has sugar mixed in it. 2nd thing is to fry jamuns perfectly. Too much frying can als mak dem hard. Nxt is temperature shud b perfect of both oil n syrup. After u fry jamun, u hav to kip dem separate for 5 mins atlst & den add them to warm syrup. Syrup shud not b hot nor u shud add fried jamuns directly to syrup. These can turn them hard. Des were d few points which cam turn GJ hard

@@SwarrasSweetDelights Do u have online video on besan laddoo. If not plz make detailed one from quantity of ghee to jaggery and when exactly we understand that besan got roasted for making ladooos
Boil only for 4-5 mins until u get little stickiness between d fingers aftr touching drop of syrup. Take a plate n drop 2-3 drops of syrup n tilt d plate to check. Syrup shud not b too runny but not too thick. Liquid but little sticky after touching

insead of deep frying can we baked in micorwave?
I hav nvr tried it by baking. U can do trial n error for small quantity of mixture. Good luck. Do let me know how it turned out so that I will also try & they wil become more healthy as compared to frying

Yes milk powder is necessary. Only with rava/sooji the gulab jamun wil not taste gud. Milk powder gives the khova taste n texture
