The chapter was devastating. In a good sense. And I kinda worry about Sophia in the future. She's not just any irrational number, but root 2, THAT irrational number, one of the most important ones in geometry. Which probably means she has a major role in the bigger scope of the events and I wonder what will come out of it. Hope it's not fate of a martyr awaiting her.

When Sophia's faith, which is stronger than anyone else on that island, crumbled before her eyes, it was all the more devastating. Her mind is now broken, the most reasonable person of that island is now irrational, filled with hatred.

It is true that root 2 is the particular triangle she was admiring in her i2 art though. It also appears when 37 is preparing an attack in battle, the symbol of root 2 floats around her.

I have a theory that she made wars happen because she needed energy to release something within her, more specifically human weapons, that's why she wanted to take a hit from a huge bomb, after she died you can hear heart beats which is really weird, I don't know if she really died but something came on after be it her or something else D: that and the fact that she knew she was going to die and she knew so many ancient spells make me believe that she might be someone really ancient who went through many eras.
Arcana herself said "I will die today" and she just waited on that cliff the entire time, as vertin herself mentioned Arcana had every opportunity to take over the island, or destroy it, or anything she could've wanted; but she did nothing but stand there watching. Someone like Arcana wouldn't do something like that without any purpose, especially since she herself knew vertin's plan and foretold everything; she definitely is plotting something huge and I doubt she's really dead
Chapter 7 was such a rollercoaster of emotions. Such misery of existence created by the Storm, yet the diversity of lifes in each arcanist and human could create something to comprehend this chaos, even for a little. Sorrow nurtured us to step into something above ourselves. This was a masterpiece of writing, soundtrack, character development, cultural and scientific references and climax. I can't stop complimenting Bluepoch for this work of art 🩵 Depression 1999 is REAL.
oh damn that's an isle of the dead reference reminds me most of the third iteration of the painting with how much the rocks like up + the ginger person accompanying the robed figure. i haven't yet played chapter 7 but the implications seem super interesting
Love Sophia but I hope she doesn't return to 37 too soon, I want her to have some independence, do things her way and be her own character instead of just being known as 37's babysitter/girlfriend or whatever. I want Sophia to be more than being 37's girlfriend. Glad they went this route.

I'm not a musical expert by any means so I could be very off but dose anyone else get Christian Rock vibes from this song? I'm thinking bands like Skillet or Creed in that very late 90's early 2000's rock sound. The singer is lost and struggling as they are set upon by misfortunes but then he calls out strongly to a higher power for salvation, healing, guidance and wisdom. This has the themes of some Christian Rock songs just stripped of the religious iconography. Sometimes I think Reverse:1999 is an excuse for Bluepoch to make epic music and the depressing gacha game is just cover. Blessed be Sophia, the herald, prophet and pioneer of the hands of vengeance.
