It's both, I watched a video when the mailman was beat up by two men.
I watched on this channel last year when an spokesman for the PO said some employees are selling those keys for $10-15.000.
I mailed close to 30 Christmas cards. I live in Queens. Not one was received. And they went to places in NY, Pa, NJ, Maryland, Georgia, Puerto Rico and Maryland. My post office is not close by. Makes me sad. My husband lostnhis debit card. Requested a new one that never arrived. Put a lock on the account. This is federal and no one is doing anything
I live in Queens NY, Feb, March and July 2023 my mail was stolen.
Since July 2023, I have been going inside the Post Office to drop my mail in the mailbox.
Same here. I have also started paying my electric bill in person and taking credit card payments directly to Citibank.
Dropping off your outgoing mail obviously does nothing to prevent mail being delivered to you from getting stolen which is what this story is about

We lost documents at the post office.
Had to fight with USPS in woodside just for them to put the mail in the mailbox. They literally left my birth certificate outside the building on the ground in the rain!!!!
I wound up going to my congressional office and they took my problem up to the postmaster general.

The post office at 122 and Jamaica Ave had a guy steal our package. He works for them. I got it on camera that he put the box down took the pic and picked up the box and walked away saying it was delivered. I went to the post office and talked to them and showed the video and they told me to call the store and get a refund like wtf. They need to be held more accountable

USPS should never have reduced the Postal Police Officers. Back in early 1990's you would see them around alot but now the only time at least I observe them is following the money truck.
This is all about Post Master Louis Dejoy....who also once owned a package delivery service. Hmm..sound like a conflict of interest.

Ridgewood Queens Post office is hiring all kinds of people these days and not all are good and some behave Super Ghetto as well. Also Ridgewood Post office is Shady as fook, Falsifying Picking up packages when they never show up for the Pick up, You drop off package at post office and they will not issue you a receipt as proof of drop off for insurance. When you drop off package they will not scan package at the counter but will scan it later on late at night or even next or few days later. This is really bad as employees can steal packages because they are not scanned in or have proof your dropped it off.
Post Master needs to Investigate Ridgewood Post office they are falsifying everything and every service they can.

11385 really needs to be investigated by the governor and the FBI please bypass the postal inspectors because all your complaints falls on death ear

I know I have put in several formal complaints, and they always claim someone will get back to me, they get back to me via Email, with short and vague questions and once I respond, I never hear back from them, I am pretty sure once I respond, they close the case and put it as resolved when in reality, nothing is resolved, I was just completely ignored.

The post office main mail box key was sold to our building 11385 gossiper who have access to all the mail box we complain to the post office landlord nothing was done to this day our mail is being tampered with
In Bayside, multiple post office boxes have a stick substance meant to catch letters before they fall in the bin. Mail theft is a huge problem in NYC.

Why do people still use paper checks in 2024? I pay all my bills and rent electronically. And I get any money I'm expecting thru direct deposit.
They steal your info with a recipe, LIKE TARGETS FOOD SHOPPING RECIPE STORE RECIPE ECT.
It's a big world out there mate. They are looking for corporate level paper checks. When a company is paying others companies millions per week. Paper checks is still the most convenient and cost efficient way to do business.

also our landlord doesn’t accept electronic payment. has to be check or money order. thankfully they do a pickup at the building every month.
