- At the beginning of the Halo CE mission Pillar of Autumn, you'll encounter several Covenant attackers that you aren't supposed to fight yet. Let's see what would happen if you did try to fight them!

Fun Fact for those who aren’t aware.
On assault on the control room, you can actually access the pulse generators, the 1st and last generators can be accessed using a banshee (the 2nd generator section was removed from the level and there’s just an empty void behind the door that leads to the 2nd generator) If you do the banshee grab trick at the start of the level, you can fly to the platform where the last generator is and if you can bypass the door using the banshee clip method, you can access the generator. At the control room section (if I had a super weapon) if you snatch the banshee u can again fly up to the platform where the first generator is, and clip through the door. If your in classic graphics, once you hit a load point, the textures de-load and it’s all wonky (in anniversary it’s normal) Oddly this doesn’t happen with the 3rd generator.
The banshee clip is tricky and takes a lot of tries, but u will get it eventually.

Got a thing to test out: If 7 different people each shoot a single needler round at the same person at the same time, who gets credit for the supercombine and kill?

You can kill them they have 50,000 health compared to regular humans having like 100 health

Agreed. The colors kind of signify their role on the ship, sort of like Star Trek
Yes the animations are seen in the game, 343 guilty spark, the crazy marine sitting against the wall does that death animation

If you kill all the invincible marines/a number of them at the beginning of the level when you’re generally unarmed, do the Marines turn on you?
I found out the hard way when this game came out ages ago. The Elite in the hallway glitched and the marnies just unloaded a truck load of bullets in him and he was still kicking sheesh😬.
I think that Elite you run into has the programming of a gold Elite with a Plasma Rifle that you can find in AOTCR and Two Betrayals.
I had an Elite die to an explosion, that was a long time ago or I'm thinking of another mission like The Maw.
Might also be later in the same mission.

@@Spartan375X Just in case this jogs the memory the one I'm specifically thinking of is after the hallway with the windows to the cryo bay (the area Sam is in before he dies); when you exit that hallway into a rustier darker room there's an elite in a room/hallway who just stands there before an explosion near always kills him.
They are wearing plot armor.

funny enough back in custom edition days i always turned on the omipotent cheat to kill all them every time
Would be really cool to unscript things to allow the marines to drop weapons. You know if this actually happened, Master Chief would just pick up the first weapon he could get and start blasting. Then you remove the invincibility from the Covenant and then turn it into a taking back the ship mission instead. This would change either everything or nothing. What if they didn't need to abandon ship and therefore didn't crash land the escape pod?
The ship was too damaged to continue anyway

not sure if you did a video on this or not, but would it be possible to get an invincible elite to chase you all the way to the keyes cutscene and see what happens if the elite kills him

These elites are weak. Even on legendary they can't straight shoot.
Stats wise I think they were up there with the Reach elites.
It's still an odd situation. They're scripted to be unkillable but the cutscene still plays? Me thinks a marine was initially going to give a weapon and not Keys
