the mototr at 8:30 work by extending the piston qhen the pipes on the wheels are horizontal and when they go vertical, the wheelpipes are behind the piston pipes and the piston retracts making it speeeeen
5:42 and 13:28 both these walkers are based on the kinetic sculpture called the strandbeest by Dutch artist Theo Jansen the design of 5:42 is a direct copy but with inaccurate dimensions, hence the "prancing" the design of 13:28 is inverted middle and outsides, but since it's still scrap mechanic, precise numbers are unachievable
I think the fastest speed is the chaotic glitching speed, very impredictable and can make you get through anything for confusing the the colisions system
Btw, the bikes themselves don't crash your game. It's the amount of suspension on a vehicle. For some reason, more than a certain number of suspension will cause your game to freeze consistently for about 5-10 seconds, then it will lead to an indefinite crash. Which should pop up with "Scrap Mechanic.exe is not responding". It also happens when. You crash into the world border hard and fast enough. Axolot Fix Your Game
