I have a question: when you talked about people that have already visited someones IG profile you mentioned a page and I'm not sure of what page did you meant. Can you provide an explanation please? I'm considering to advertise on IG, but not sure which profile type (business or creator) would be appropriate to chose. Weird question, but if I have a significant following on my personal would you still suggest making a new creator account? / do some content creators create off their personals? or do all content creators have like a creator account and then a personal account?

I make music and perform live shows. When I post reels and vids with my music that I commercially distribute they are either silenced or they do not have the option to be boosted. Right now I have a creator account but it has caused me problems when signing up on affiliate programs and more. It seems a business account will be better in the long run but I’m still a little confused on why these creator companies want you to have a business platform instead of a creator platform.
If someone has a business account but doesn’t use it like a shop feature or a way to specifically sell product and more of a education tool to potential clients and networking tool for potential colleagues, would you suggest they switch from business to creator? Or stay with business?

I am a real estate agent and have a business account right now; not sure if changing to a creator account would be a better option. The ads thing is a good reason to not do it, but I dont run as many ads as I used to and the tracking of it doesn’t matter to me much. Some features such as auto publishing from third party apps (Later and Tailwind) require a business account with a connected FB page. Otherwise you need to do it manually when it notifies you - which can be time consuming. Do you auto publish posts from Canva or any other app or do it manually on your creator account. I hate that the music is limited - really stunting my Reels potential amd why I hardly do it TBH. Any advise?

I hate the music option! I’m a business, I’m an entrepreneur but this is a business. The music selections suck, completely horrible. Hey Jay! Great question! Adam Mosseri has talked about this on his channel before and I think the @creators account may have this myth busted in one of their story highlights. It's just another one of those Instagram myths that aren't true 😊
