Spot on review. Man this stuff is so good. Ordering a bottle next week. I agree with you on every point except I don't get the tobacco you got from it. It's got a great scent trail it performs incredibly. Great frag from start to finish.

Fantastic job reviewing FdB: New York Intense. I just received a sample and it is making me crazy - in a very good way!! lol I immediately came to UA-cam to seek out reviews from folks and I really enjoyed yours. You described exactly what I am feeling. SO GOOD! I'm about to pull the trigger on a full bottle. To me, when I smell it, I think of a very good looking, sophisticated, well-dressed man (or woman) shopping in a high end department store. Not sure why that picture comes to mind, but it does. I currently have Sahraa which I adore - but dare I say it - this may surpass Sahraa!

Joel, FDB costs a pretty penny. Does OSME carry a sample? She did not like the Mancera’s I bought her except Instant Crush. So, I ended up with a lot of Mancera’s, which I like the house. I am not afraid of wearing “feminine” fragrances.

Blind bought its sexy in not sure if I like this erba pura or into rehab better but their all staples everyday along with greenly for the gym

Hi Joel, how would this compare to NY 5th ave?
Ohh classy my man really high end from top to toe but I’m perplexed bud,how come they got away with the name New York intense considering Parfums de Nicholi has the name out years before looking at the beef between bond number 9 and Parfums de Marley had over a name don’t you find it weird ? Keep up the good work peace out ✌️

@@joelthenose yeah J but now that I think about it they both are not in any way competing against each other big difference in price point Fragrance de Bois see the high esteem that Nicholi version is held 5 stars from Luca Turin etc so they would fancy the name to make a connection for people and on the other hand it’s a great homage and nod to Nicholi and great name recognition and it’s not a clone it’s from an upper tier fragrance company a win win for both I think. Of course I could be way off the mark and a law suit is underway as we speak lol take care my friend peace out ✌️

How to compare this to some of the top Xerjoffs like, Richwood or Alex II or lets say Roja Dove Creation E? I understand that the notes may be different but in terms of pure quality and taking you to another level?
I really like all those fragrances and they are classics. This one to me just has an old school feel about it that really differentiates it
