Zhonyas is only good for early game stalls for ganks and tower dives. Once actual fights break out, people just pile on the Zhonya'd champ the moment they come out. GA is a guaranteed deterrent regardless of how the user plays. They dont have to have perfect timing or sacrifice all their pressure just to remain safe. Lumi knows he has to be proactive in order to carry, meaning he cannot waste time stuck in Zhonyas. It's a warning sign to enemies, signaling that if they want to kill Lumi they will have to waste at least 5 seconds on top of Janna's ability to stall.

Might be wee bit late but the Sona and Lux combo is meant to be a mid to late game thing where both has ap sp items. Point being insane utility + shields so that other lanes can carry/will not die. Best part is that it doesn't even half matter if yall lose bot cuz your main purpose is to your team and not taking down their team.

I played utility Lux a lot when it was meta with aftershock or Sona Lux combo (it's not dead yet) , but I still prefer AP Lux support . She is just stronger . Maybe the one thing about utility is better . It is if you're behind or dying in lane .
