Your comments on consumer spending are so on point. I found a local farmers market that was local to us because we live in sort of a food desert, with typical overpriced grocery stores and fast food joints. I began telling my friends and neighbors about this market because you can literally get ALL your produce for half the price of the grocery stores and most importantly most of it is locally grown, so it is also healthier for your gut, your immune system and ultimately your overall health, with all the environmental threats we already face. Spending my money at the farmers market, investing in cooking for our family instead of eating out is an investment in you (when you have no control over what happens in the kitchen and the ingredients are not stated on the menu, like MSG that is still widely used in restaurants). It is amazing how we think of everything as monetary but there are some simple investments we can make in ourselves that do not take dollars but definitely cut dollars in the store, the doctors office, the pharmacy and your household overall. This was a great session!
I haven't even heard all you have to say but I can already feel that this is the place to be in 2025 for financial planning and preparing for a more vibrant future, especially for folks approaching or already retiring. Thank you for what you do for us!
I agree! Massive society degradation. My husband and I have decided to build up more cash reserves this year because of the uncertainty. We still are investing but concentrating on building a larger cash reserves.
I’m playing it safe and sticking to ETF’s and Robinhood Stock itself. I think yalls analysis is 1000% correct. Technology Intrenchment is not going to reverse in society at all, and AI will only get better as Quantum Computing gets more energy efficient. The bottle is still efficiency.
Oh lawd "The Nine Nine to the 2000s " was 25 years ago! We're in a totally different world.
