I thought after my little trailer I needed to present myself a little bit more. I made this video about how I got into circus, and mainly what did I do before that.

I am only 14 right now but have wanted to be in the circus since I was about 7 or 8. I have been trying to teach myself some tricks because I don't have a lot of money and only live in a small town with little public transport. I am hoping with my whole heart that doing dance at school will help me get into NICA australia. I would say I am reasonably flexible (naturally) and have been teaching myself some contortion. ALso for my 12th birthday I got a unicycle and have taught myself how to ride it.
Hey Talullah, I think you ahve the right mindset and spirit to become a circus artist!! Dance will give you a good background, posture and artistic sensibility, and is it great to hear that you are trying out different things! There are a lot of circus videos on UA-cam and there is a lot you can learn by yourself. I think you are doing everything right to make it happen one day! My family has been travelling for over 200 years on funfairs and markets and such. My dad settled down when he got me but I always knew I wanted to continue that legacy. When I was 11 my mom signed me up for dance classes and the idea of mixing that two came into being. Circus. When I was 15 I started aerial hoop and next year I will be applying to circus school in stockholm
That was really charming, the story of your childhood training in gymnastics and how you discovered the circus school in Montreal. You have a way of telling a story that is quite endearing. Would love to hear the rest of your story!

hello Lea, I'm just an 11 year old from wales and you have helped me to understand things about the circus. in my school we have a ting called Circus Skills tomorrow I'm trying to find a way to join. right know I cannot practice anything involving my left hand since I have injured it. I've only wanted to join the circus only for a few days but I absolutely love it. I feel as if its something I want to do! I've never felt this way about a dream job, I usually say "oh I want to work in _____" and leave it at that but I have been on for hours finding out about the circus life. Thank you.
Wow, thanks for telling your story! I LOVE Cirque du Soleil! I will definately see a life show at least once in my life. I have seen their movie "Worlds ways" a few times. And every time I have to cry becaus it is just sooo beautiful ♥
+große Träumerin You defenately should! They usually tour through Europe every year with different shows and have some based in big cities like Las Vegas. But if you go I recommend you to go and see a show in a Circus-Tent, or Theater and not in an Arena, because you have to be able to be close enough to realy experience it :)

So glad to hear you didn’t start till 19. I’m 19 now and I’ve done sport acrobatic gymnastics for 8 years (started in artistic gymnastics when I was younger) and I’ve been in college for 1.5 years pursuing a BFA in sculpture until this time 2020. Some much sitting made me realize “what am I doing”!? If I’m planning for a career in circus why am I not in school for circus 😂 I am applying to ENC in Montreal and NECCA in Vermont very soon and I’ve never been so nervous 😬😂😭

Hello Lea! my name is Samuel, congrats for a such amazing chanel I love your videos so inspired! I am from Rio Brazil I am circus student and studying fresh a lot as well! I have been for vacation in Paris 4X and I LOVE! I wish live in france and study more cirque, but I am 28 yrs old now hard to be accepted in some clique school I start cirque 3 yrs ago, when I Travel with Corteo from Cirque du Soleil for 1 yrs with my best friend who is acrobat from there so I made a lot friends and than they starts teach me some acro heheh was the most experience ever. I dance do acrobatics and hand balance, my question is, do u know some cirque school in france? I Love cirque and France hehe I am really lost! :))))) regarding

Lea, can you tell me if in this school is any camp or holiday workshops for people who are 18 years old? I'm from Polen and my story till this time is really similar to yours. I started doing partner acrobatic when I was five years old, did it for last 13 years and few months ago I came into local circus foundation and totally fell into that. I want to continue circus way and I'm looking for good school,but first I would rather see the place I would spend my next few years :) Can you advice me about schools that I should read about in the internet?
