I like the right hand technic. if I ever start playing bass I think I'll try and incorporate that way of using the right hand. It looks so natural and relaxed. ☺
AlexBadsmile Well as I said I don't exactly know for this exact video. But the strings I use with the Jazz Bass (in almost every other Kyuss vid I made) are D'addario EXL 165, but the sound gets great for C tuning when they've been used for about 4-6 months.
AlexBadsmile he has his bass strung similarly to mine with a 130g and 115g 90g and a 75g (looks like). I strung my jazz bass like this to handle drop tuning better. Mind are roundwound super slinky custom heavies by Ernie Ball but had a few problems with them on my D string. My next set will be a heavy balanced tension. The high gagues get this kind of really low end sound out of a jazz bass and there isn't a lot of string flopping when you play in drop tuning.
