No…. Like, why? I mean, I think they will probably go after him, because all the Heat seem to understand is familiarity.
For once, I would like to see this team look to the future instead of the past. How much is the oldest, most undersized 4 in the league really going to help?

PJ Tucker will take the Heat from a 38 win team to a 38 win team.

There’s a reason he wants back lol , we are the only team that would play him. If he had it his way he’d be getting minutes in LA

Love PJ Tucker, but who's minutes is he going to take? Highsmith? Jovic? It benefits Miami to keep those young guys on the court. I think Miami needs to seriously consider pivoting away from Jimmy and the veteran players on the current roster, and start the new chapter with this young core of players.

I’m with you. Jimmy Butler is my favorite player and probably always will be, but he’s aged out. He would be the 6th or 7th best player on the Celtics right now if I’m being real, and we keep looking to him to be Michael Jordan every year. It’s not gonna happen, and even if we got the Jimmy that ran through the East in ‘23, I still don’t think they would beat the Celtics. The roster around him is not built to defend in the playoffs, and I think it’s more than 1 big trade away from competing.
What is bright and sunny and good about this Miami team is the guys they have from the Summer League team along with JJJ and Jovic. That’s what they should be investing in now.
Think about if we traded Jimmy and Bam for a couple of young studs like Kuminga, Jalen Williams, Keegan Murray, Amen Thompson for example (i know you aren’t getting all of them, but these kinds of options) and then we miss the playoffs and keep our lottery pick and get Cooper Flagg or one of the other top talents in this upcoming draft. We’d be setting up for a dynasty. That’s way more attractive to me than driving this current roster into a brick wall.

More for a competitive voice in the locker room but it’s already hard money on the roster to get minutes it’s a no for me 🤝🏿

    I have an idea.
Trade Bam for a package centred around PJ Tucker.
Get Derrick Jones Jr and Zubac as well.
And 2 protected 1st round picks.
    Heh.
We can all devolve into silly shit.
    😂😂😂😂😂

Those are the only kind of players the Heat can attract. They’re super washed or undrafted and raw

Why go after a player who is 47 years old, he would be another waste, just like Buttler?
