Amazing cover!!! I have seen all the songs from Alex which you have covered and they are amazing! You are very talented! Keep going!!! And it would be really good if you do a video teaching us how to play the songs too!
Helen R Thanks for the compliments! Well I can't really teach how to improvise, all my performances are impromptu, you just need to know how to use scales, chords and arpeggios properly. I only did a video tutorial in my entire life where I explain the principles I use while playing. Please refer to the video "Make It Up piano tutorial" (or something like that). I'd recommend watching my performance first and then the tutorial. All you need can be found in that video :)
Josh Lewis everyone who ask a question deserves to be given an answer :) you know, it's not really a matter of patience, I love music so so much and time flies when I practice haha
This is not the only one! I covered several songs of his, there's even a playlist on my channel where I put the Alex Goot covers :) if you like him, then please go check out that playlist :)
It depends... I've got perfect pitch so I can identify the chords played just by listening to the song, in this case there were a lot of rhythmic issues that I had to understand and deal with. On the other hand I need a lot of time to learn the melody of a song haha while the impromptu parts come instantaneously and they're different every single time I perform that song :)
***** it's nothing special really... it can just be useful in cases like these, what really matters is having a good musical ear. Trust me :). I know some musicians who have perfect pitch but their playing is horrible. They don't have good melodic ideas, aren't able to improvise that much and things like that. ;)
One of the best pianist I've ever met!! You killed it!! I'm speechless!! 😊😉
Thanks man!!

If you have any doubts feel free to ask me btw ^_^
Giovanni Nicotera ok! I will! But first I have to exercise in piano. The last time I played was a year ago. And I don't play very well.
Helen R you just need a bit more time to get used to it again ^^ I'm here if you need help!
