Interesting, but not much more. Same aerial videos of downtown over and over. I expected many other historical sites. The narrator mispronounces Worcester dozens and dozens of times. No one with a local accent was available as narrator? One could read Wikipedia about Worcester MA and get about the same info. Contains a few lazy errors that 2 minutes of research would have remedied; for example, the Worcester Galleria fiasco was in the 70’s, not the end of the sixties. The other facts are narrated with no flair, instead it drags on in mere robotic, sterile reading. Appears to be a well-prepared high school sophomore project with a computer simulated voice for narration.

learn how to pronouce the name before pretending to know Worcester's history.
Pronunciation is arbitrary and has no bearing on one's understanding of the history. Indeed, the name is from the British city so one can just as well say that it is the locals who don't pronounce the name correctly.
@@marcinna8553 Bro, it's WOO-STER say it right or get lost
@@echoftw Oh yeah... make me!
Its more like wuss-ster not woo-ster either.😂
@@MrSuzukigsx10 Or "Whis-tah", which is how I heard it growing up. @echoftw must be from the Midwest.
Now, Worcester is a piece of crap. Once teenagers go to one of our many college's they move on to other places where they can use whatever learned. Don't waste your life living in Worcester
Where would you propose people live instead? As far as I understand it the rest of ma is unattainable monetarily, unless you want to live in western ma and spend the rest of your life making 2 hour trips to the grocery store
I was born in Worcester in the 60's was pretty good on the 70's and 80's,some of my best memories, moved out of state in the 90's when it started being taken over by foreigners,it's a real shit hole now, ridiculous rents for crappy apartments in dangerous neighborhoods, drugs, gangs, prostitution everywhere, fuck Worcester now, once the minorities take over the white people become the minorities and it all goes to shit, best thing to come from Worcester was j.giels band,
@@runnerup15 Anywhere besides this liberal-run hell hole. The rents are approaching DOUBLE in just 4 years. We planned $8->$15 minimum wage increase over a decade and guess what, $15 an hour leaves you MORE BROKE than $8 did 10 years ago. This entire state is a joke and Worcester should be it's poster child: overly expensive, poorly laid out, riddled with drugs, terrible transportation.
Live there for 30+ years not by choice i was 3 years old & i can bouch for that this city is garbage.only regret i have is not leaving sooner.
It's pronounced Whuster. You don't pronounce the first r. Well, you may, but it shouldn't be heard.
You have mispronounced Worcester multiple times. In Massachusetts it is 'Woo ster' like Rooster. please learn how to pronounce the city before doing a poor video on it.
My wife pronounces it that way. I say it….WUSS-tuh.
No mention of the Norton Co.? World leader in the manufacturing of grinding wheels still in business today and owned by Saint ~ Gobain. I retired from there in 2021.
