Elijah's Fire from Heaven Kills the False Prophet

God's counsel to Laodicea in James 5 instructs us to consider the suffering patience and affliction of Job, as well as the faith of Elijah; both these patriarchs and prophets had an experience of fire fall from heaven, providing typological insight to our present times of expectation connected to Revelation 9 and 13. In this study, we consider how God's true prophet Elijah called fire down from heaven, resulting in the death of the false prophets, followed by praying Seven Times to bring down the outpouring of the rain upon the dry land.
