Fast Riding in Nevada, CanAm Maverick R goes down hard! What will I do Next?

- I've Never ventured out to Death Valley, Alien country, and Military testing grounds. Beatty NV is all 3! My buddy Eli takes me on an ultimate tour of Old Ghost towns, Fast Riding and Death Valley. Hitting speeds of 104 MPH on dry lake beds, whipping through Joshua trees and pines, blasting through washes. All the while being surrounded by cool old structures, houses shaped like space ships, and exploring abandoned mining structures and cabins. It all gets pear shaped when a washout destroys my car!

Very glad to see you are ok, first & foremost. Not only is this proof of making sure you put a proper cage & seatbelts in these cars, but you wear helmets and other safety gear. If you were injured in that accident, changes the whole game and recovery. Looks like a great place to ride. Hope you go back and can share some more of that area. The ghost towns and old mines and cabins were awesome. Looks like the Speed was doing well.

I seriously thought about! If I had the capability to do it myself, I would do it. The cost do do it would be astronomical…..

Hey everyone, this is why our insurance premiums keep going up to where a lot of people can’t afford to go out riding anymore.
I agree 100%. I used to pay $378 per year for my 2017 X3, I've never ever had an accident and never had to claim anything on my insurance, now it's gone up to $778 a year thru all state insurance. It's b.s.
Insurance on everything is up. This is the first claim I’ve had ever!
I get it but others like you is what's making our insurance to go up. People crash for rock crawling and when they wreck they claimed Insurance. Insurance company should start investing these crashes.
360p is too low of video quality, can barely see the terrain. 720p would be absolute minimum to watch on a TV

Don't blame the Can Am. This is a classic case of driving way beyond your ability. Cross-grain & rain ruts are everywhere and sometimes you have to check-up for it. These cars are super-fast and the gotcha's come up quick. Surprising that insurance will cover something like this, but if they do it is a good deal for the insured. Get some window nets installed 😶
Definitely not the CanAms fault. I think this crash would have torn apart any car.
I did think I was beyond the big rutted out section, pure miscalculation on my part.
I am grateful that insurance covered the accident.

So many thoughts, I’ll try not to sound like a butt hole. High performance toys tend to have inherent danger in the hands of an everyday enthusiast. Similar to when a rich sports player buys a super car or an airplane and under estimate the danger. So glad it ended well.
For sure! With 1300 miles under my belt on this car, one moment of overconfidence can change it all.

@@UTV-A crashing because you were driving out of control. That is not pushing the the utv to its limits. That is wreck less driving.
@@robholly-jd3ni maybe, I can tell you that I don’t believe I was driving recklessly, rather that I miss calculated being out of the rough section on this road. I can for certain tell you that I know the limitations of this car. I have pushed it to the limit in the dunes, on the highway, dry lake beds, the desert, and on a race track, and it’s all on video. The only scenario I would say that I don’t know the limitation of this car is rock crawling.
