I am using PLC18DC-DA-R AND WITH EXTENSION OF 6 OUTPUT there are 2 set of this. From these I want one to be work has MASTER and other will work as SLave cna you let em know how to do it possible that way ?
Yes, you can use the built-in RS485 port on CPUs and connect them together. They can talk using Modbus RTU. The Client (Master) program uses Modbus Read and Modbus Write blocks in xLogicsoft to read/write from the Server (Slave) CPU. The Modbus address of block in the Server are shown in a light-blue colour to the left of the function blocks. The xLogicsoft User Manual shows how to do this. Open PDF and search 'Modbus Read'. Hope that helps!!
Hi, unfortunately not as it was a customer specific project written by them. However, it is straightforward enough to use MQTT on our PLC's. What are you looking to achieve?
