Doering and Mcgriff were coached by the best at the Jab step release in college. They were great college players and unguardable in man bump. Same with many others from those years, Jabar Gaffney, Taylor Jacobs etc..
wow this is great movement so sharp, so clean. drills like this would be great for footballers (soccer players to most of you i guess) as well, that kind of movement is hard to keep up for 90 minutes, but its fkin hard to defend
Denver Broncos Training Camp. #83 is not Wes Welker his name is Travis McGriff. I don't know the exact date this was filmed but its pretty old. I think the year was 2001
This stuff actually works, it takes time to get it down, but once you got it, it makes you so hard to stop. I run a 4.4, and I always thought "I don't need release technique, I'm fast, I can just blow past people". But when guys who ran a 4.8-4.9 started guarded me and stopping me with ease, ya, time to try something new.
his routes are amazing and reputable but with pads he would drop over half of those nice passes because it looks like he consistently catches with his body yet his hands have first touch. Its not even that he is tucking in but he skips before his catch his hands touch his body catches and then the db is left mind-fu#@ by the amazing route and in ability to keep up and change his balance. Weird combo right there.
WAS THAT CHAMP BAILEY THAT GOT BEAT DEEP LIKE THAT ON A DEEP BALL? I THOUGHT HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE FASTEST CORNERS IN THE NFL. HE NEEDS TO CHANGE HIS NAME TO CHUMP BAILEY INSTEAD.
Best video ever

yes i confirm, it's travis mc grif from Gators. He played for broncos during 3 years and only caught 5 passes for 1 td. WOW the level is very high.
81 is damn good
Wes welker ^_^
That move at 1:46 my gawd!!!
Champ Bailey wasn't in denver when this video was shot. The video quality looks like late 90s maybe early 00s.

Travis Mc Griff ^^ nice try
he's too tall for welker...
This is the worse display of defensive back technique and play in one on ones that I have seen in a long time.
