Really enjoyed this. I lived in Emeryville for about 4 years while I was going to college there, at a place called Ex'pression. I couldn't tell you how many times I would walk this exact path to that movie theater. Dozens and dozens of times. Good memories. With how small it is, its close proximity to the BART, and that extremely handy Emery-Go-Round bus service, Emeryville's a great place to live if you don't have a car.
Thanks for the comment and for sharing, really appreciate it. Yeah, Emeryville is actually a nice little city to live in. Please check out the Public Market video as well, although Public Market has been changing a lot over the years. 😀
Way to go for taking the courage to focus on pedestrians and urbanism ! I hope this trend continues around the country. I hate driving, because everyone drives like they don’t want to drive. This kind of city would be amazing to live in.
Yes, Emeryville definitely has changed, grew, and improved throughout the years. Public Market looks so different as well. Thanks for the comment by the way, really appreciate it :)

I agree, Emeryville is a really nice pedestrian and biking city, wish more cities in California are like that. Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it :)

I agree, cities should make their downtowns more walkable and pedestian friendly. Thank you for the comment, really appreciate it.
Haven't been here since '02 when it was just a corner by the garage. This place grew!

Thanks to the mayor it's a true gem of a city inside the garbage can called 2023 Cali
I agree, California isn't what it used to be, but Emeryville is definitely a nice place to visit.

Why would you need to drive if you live in a city like Emeryville? Looks like an amazing place to live.

Hi. Do you consider having a car is necessary to live there? Is the public transport good? Thanks
Public transportation is very good in Emeryville. But, like any other city in California, having a car is recommended. Thanks for the comment! :)

Oh I remember the Elephant Bar too. Also Public Market completely changed, used to go there every week before. Thanks for the comment 🙂
