ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना के तहत 125 किलोमीटर लंबे रास्ते में से तकरीबन 105 किलोमीटर रेल सुरंगों से होकर जाता है हिमालय की ऊंची ऊंची चोटियों के बीच में भारतीय रेलवे इस प्रोजेक्ट को पूरा करने के लिए जी जान से जुटी हुई है
ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेल प्रोजेक्ट में सबसे लंबी रेल सुरंग खोदने का काम शुरू हो चुका है और इसके लिए दो दो टनल बोरिंग मशीन जर्मनी से मंगाई गई हैं

Really fantastic endeavour!
It was not made clear why two rail lines were planned in this section, and why two separate tunnels were required after a distance of 600 metres. Ultimately these lines are to be merged into one line, which will go upto Karnprayag.
If you can make this clear, we shall be really thankful.
Even otherwise, this is a very good video with a lot of informations.

I wonder why Modiji in sab infrastructure development ke peeche pade hai. Kya hi ho jayega ye tunnels, roads, expressways hospitals banwa ke. Modiji should rather make petrol available for 50 rupees and provide electricity for free.
