This is definitely one of the craziest playoffs in the entire NBA history. 2nd 8th seed to reach the finals, Denver making it's first finals appearance, Sacramento's first playoffs since 2007, and multiple players scoring 50 points or more.
LeBron vs Curry matchup (possibly their last against each other in the playoffs), Derrick White game six buzzer beater, Jimmy Buckets clutch moments, Curry’s 50 point game 7 followed by Tatum’s 51, Jokic historic efficiency, all 4 California teams making the playoffs, first time a team from all seeds 1-8 make it through to the second round, and all the rivalries
If you’re a heat fan you know damn well every game this year was a claw fight or blowout. What this team has accomplished is really something out of an underdog movie.
100% ! The Heat, similar to the Lakers, had a crazy uphill battle of a season to go through, and the fact that they BOTH made the CF's is one thing - but the Heat going all the way despite all of that is ANOTHER thing. Full credit to Jimmy and the Heat org. This will be a Finals to remember!
This is a true David vs. Goliath Finals. A first seed that feels so solid that they are unstoppable, and an 8th seed that captures the peoples hearts, with a man that feels like he can take you to the promise land.
Every series the heat have been in has been David vs. Goliath except the Knicks series. And they have managed to win them. If they win the chip it will be by far the greatest ring in nba history.
Actually Jimmy in a way did inspire a generation or at least he will. Because of his grit grin and determination is like a beacon of hope to aspiring players and younger generations. Dude literally is one of the few nba players who literally came from nothing was a late draft pick and still came to be one of the most respected players in the game
It's funny hearing him talk about how he didn't really dream of hitting a game 7 buzzer beater in the finals, because he "was never really that good at basketball". He wasn't a super talented guy with the why as a limit. He had to work for everything he has achieved. And of course even generational talents like Lebron also worked hard - but almost everyone we're comparing Butler to these days, were highly rated 1st round picks. Honestly Jokic is the closest parallel as someone who only really became this good when he worked his ass off and got into shape. But even he had a physical advantage (height) that statistically gave him a good chance to become an NBA player.
This is so true. MJ lost to the Magic in 95 and came back extra hard in 96. Kobe lost to the Celtics in 08 and listened to the song played after they lost all year long to motivate himself the following year. Duncan lost to the Heat in 2013 and told his entire team it was his fault, he was the top scorer and had a double-double average. Came back the next year and massacred the Heat. It's a team sport but the team needs a strong leader.
Man these people had the right mentality, look at the fuckers now. "We can't win alone", "X shouldn't have done that", "We need 2 3 more pieces before we're ready to compete in the playoffs" etc.
Jordan just wasn't ready that year. He had only played 17 games coming into the playoffs and his game 6 loss to the Magic was only his 27th game that year. I know hindsight is a bitch, but I fell like if he came back 20+ games earlier there's no chance the Magic would have won.
Watching Nuggets v Suns game 4 proved Jokic has that mentality. Booker and Durant were scorching hot for a combined 72 points, Jokic responded by dropping 53 single handedly. Nuggets still lost but the Joker kept them in it the whole time
When the music kicked on at 5:20 I started getting goosebumps. When you lead with what happens at 9:20 and finish at 10:10 I had to screen record to look back at it with ease. Something about it reminds me of my goals and my fire. That 50 seconds will stand out as my favorite bit of any video of Jimmy’s and I have watched them all. A genuine masterclass in production. As always, amazing work Jimmy. Much love
I think you also have to give a lot of credit to Erik Spoelstra, because coaching's been a huge factor in all of the Heat series. The Celtics were completely outcoached. They didn't make any adjustments when they were losing, nor when they were winning, whereas the Heat have been incredibly flexible and fluid in their defense and offense. That's cause of great coaching.
It's hard to believe the man has never won a COTY award. This man has 8 undrafted players on his roster and has found ways to get them nor only part of the gameplan, but part of a successful one.
no shit sherlock, i would god damn hope spoelstra would outcoach him its joe mazullah the guy is stupid asf. Sucks for them they felt the need to fire IME
This is what has killed me with the Celtics, we need a guy like Spolstra with this roster. If they had that, they would've likely lost 2 whole games into the finals.

Ive been a butler fan since his rookie year. I had him on my fantasy team when he was averaging like 2.5 a game. I played as him on my first 2k game and won several championships. He is my favorite come up story in nba history. His story and his ability as a clutch takeover type player is so great. Im a bulls fan but i love seeing jimmy succeeed and show out. I have his signed jersey in my closet.❤
I don't know what it was about the way he looked out there in those rookie bull years, but both my brother and I said he had shades of MJ. We were watching the bulls every game for the Derrick Rose experience (and Kyle Korver), but J Butler off the bench was for sure a highlight.
I'm a Bulls fan at heart (good old MJ days), but for several years I've been just rooting for Jimmy. All the drama BS that the media has conjured about him deserves to be put to shame by getting him the ring.
this loss stings as a c's fan 😭 but the heat proved that when you want it bad enough you'll go thru hell & back. congrats to them, i hope they win it all
Im actually kind of glad the heat won. From a talent perspective, especially without herro who gives them nearly 20 points per game it wasnt close. The heat seemed to just WANT it more, ran though the bucks, knicks, and celtics. They seemed to will out victories in games 1,2, and 3. In game 7 they just kind of took control and I quit even thinking the celtics could come back. I hope they give the nuggets hell. I want to see jimmy dropping 28-40. The whole team get hot and feed off that energy. Its a lot more fun to watch then the 14 he had last night, and all those missed 3s.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Respect to the heat for pulling through (and the celts for clawing back). Should be an intriguing finals
How when the heat was not working hard the entire regular season? This take is only makes sense now because it fits the narrative. If they lose the finals I bet they will say its because they were the regular season 8th seed. Wait and see.
thank you for acknowledging that the celtics clawed back. everyone acts like they just straight up choked. they shouldn't have been expected to win game 7.
@@burna6120 Don't think he said that He said that the Celtics (because they're a higher seed) are a more talented team this year, yet the Heat actually work together as a team while the Celtics crumbled in Game 7 This *isn't my opinion* just what I think OPs opinion is
@@heylolp9 I think you can say the celtics did not play well but to say the did not work hard is ludicrous. they were 2nd seed and got to the ECFs. I just think people get lost in the sauce and say whatever sounds right at the moment.
@Generic User If you go on the internet everyone thinks Boston fans are villains. Draemon Green said it on his podcast. Max Kellerman said it on his podcast.
I loved Jimmy Butler’s mentality. His practice intensity with the Timberwolves that got him traded, has sparked hope and life into an 8th Seed Heat team. Jimmy Butler is truly an “Alpha” leader. He has the best representation of Mamba mentality today
Jimmy… this was no joke probably the best executed video I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. The explanation. The detail. The understanding on the concept of soemthing that has seemingly been long forgotten. This was a great video
This video in particularly barely had any graphs or statistics compared to your other videos, but I still absolutely enjoyed every second due to the pure effort and love you have for making these videos. If the heat themselves were a UA-camr it would be you, hats off to you Jimmy.
Jimmy you are truly one of the few sports commentators with integrity. No spin, no flipping at the last second. You make your views known and own them after the fact. And give credit where credit is due with objectivity. Thank you
As someone who grew up through the mamba era, this absolutely hits the nail on the head of why I want jimmy to win this so badly. For years I've thought jimmy is one of the last few players I've seen cut from a similar cloth as Kobe or MJ. That drive, nearly insane obsession with doing everything in your power to win is something so compelling to watch, what an amazing story it would be if the Heat go all the way.
Jokic has a killer mentality too. Every year, even as he won MVP, when he lost he'd go back to the lab and work on his game. He's already MVP what could he possibly work on? 2 seasons ago: Physique 1 Season ago: Accuracy and post moves. This season: defense Jamal Murray has that killer in him too. You know how hard and nearly impossible it is to come back from an ACL? Let alone come back BETTER? The four leaders, Butler, Jokic, Bam, Murray all exemplify the best thing about sports.
This is is exactly why I love and hate this conflict a as a die hard Denver fan that has been on the Jimmy bandwagon since his early days in Chicago. Losing to him will be easier to swallow than another lakers or Celtics championship but i also hate that I think we’re gonna be the villains ending jimmys cinderella run this year
@Bels Still got two MVPs though compare that to not even being voted as an all star. Plus to be fair most people was saying Jokic deserved the MVP this year breaking multiple records of his previous MVP season. Guess things just went up to voter fatigue similar to Giannis. Plus to be fair as well Embiid almost won the MVP a couple years back if he didnt get hurt. I think Jokic deserved the MVP this year but Embiid if he didnt get hurt would've won a couple years ago too. So I guess they gave it to him with consideration of that and the scoring average in the regular season
I really feel like the biggest reason reverse sweeps rarely happen is because the teams that are able to get it to game 7 are normally exhausted after giving everything in games 4-6
The same argument is normally the only reason the comeback started to begin with. The team that went up 3-0 is exhausted and takes their foot off the gas.
deserve really has no place in competition...thats why competition is so great...but damn....thisnyears finals has a group of really hungry, hard working killers....should be a good series....but it looks like Denver in 5
I want to see that as well. This may be his last shot. I don't think this type of run will be replicated and unless the get another dominant player, its not gonna happen. The nuggets will be back next year either way.
@@samraizshoaib585 he does no doubt, but Butler seems to be his kryptonite sadly. Even i was rooting for the bucks that 1st round series, and I got proven wrong so hard 😂
This is the main reason why Larry Bird will always be my favorite player of all time. The dude was fucking unbreakable. He was a true warrior, heart of a lion, literally left it all on the court from day 1 to his last game. It was truly contagious, you could almost see that aura around him lol... The dude wasn't the highest flyer, not the fastest, biggest or strongest. But the shear determination, heart, will power, and skill... The dude broke his back, face and all who knows what else lol Still never ever gave up on his team... He came back stronger after loses and heartbreaks. Never bitched and complained or looked for excuses and always took it upon himself to prove that he can do it better. Very few players in the history had that level of insanity and fire in them. Larry, Mike, Kobe 100% on that top of the mountain.... and Jimmy has just proven how powerful that is when he is surrounded by players and staff who understand that and who are receptive to that kind of energy. He dragged that stupid Minnesota team to the playoffs but KAT would rather play video games. He carried the 76ers but they disrespected him and kept fucking Tobias Harris over him LMAO... Pat Riley and Spoelstra also deserve a lot of credit for sure... But they ain't doing shit with any other player in the league instead of Jimmy imo He is the craziest! And looks like the Joker flipped that switch to some extent, he looks really determined and focused as well! GO FINALS, LET THE BEST TEAM WIN!
I think the heat embody what we want in basketball- laying everything on the line and playing with complete effort rather than relying on pure talent. It’s made basketball enjoyable to watch again and I’m actually excited for a finals for the first time in a long time
Not only that but the importance of having every player buy into a system. The Heat may not have the best players on paper, but they all know their roles on the team. We have seen countless times in the past of teams just putting the best players together with no cohesion expecting to find success.
NBA will be changed forever after this playoffs. Starpower is no longer the only priority, it’s character and mentality. If these teams truly want to win a championship, you cannot have a team of entitled, spoiled losers no matter how talented. You need players who would literally give their life to win.
Few words of advice Never share who your goat is There are quite a few different types of fans Casuals; sit back watch every now and again, but has no idea what's really going on in the league Avid: people who watch and are starting to pay attention to what's happening Numbers: will pull stats out of thin air to make themselves right in ANY situation Then there's the peo0le who try to pay attention to it all and they are reporters or reporter wannabes
As a Celtics fan, the Miami Heat are exactly what I want the Celtics to be. Butler is one of my favorite players in the league because he really does radiate that "Ima win this game for you or die trying" energy. Game 6 this year and game 7 last year really showcase the difference in teams. In both games the Celtics were the much better team, got a lead with not much time left and just stopped playing. If Butler hits that shot and Derek White didn't happen Miami would have won both games. We just didn't have the mentality to put the hammer down.
I remeber watching his free throws with my dad and brother, all of us watching different amounts of nba (my brother almost none) and yet we all knew as he lined up for his fta, that the heat just got 3 points.
9:39 Honestly my favorite example of this idea when talking about the Killer mentality is Dame’s range. He didn’t have this range the whole time, but after getting swept in the first round in 2018, he spent the entire off season working on the long ball and improving. The Mamba mentality at its finest: using a loss to force yourself to improve.
@@Jarekx2007 we make a mockery of terms like the killer mentality. It's based off what you do when you play and dame has a confidence in himself that can even be considered foolhardy at points but he definitely has it
As a nuggets fan, I'm nervous about the Heat. I know the nuggets have a damn good team this year but something about this Heat squad almost has me excited. It's gonna be a great series
Heat will get run out of the gym. They simply cannot keep up with Denvers scoring and Denvers size on defense will give the Heat fits. Injury is Miami's only hope.
This is one of your best videos. Very excited for these Finals. I’m rooting for the Nuggets bc my grandpa who got me into basketball as a kid is originally from Denver and he loves Jokic and is not doing great health wise. I would be so happy for Jimmy and Heat fans if they won, at the same time. This should be a great series!
the beautiful thing about sports. i’m a Heat fan but feel like Denver is such a class organization and that we’ve already overachieved so much that i wouldn’t even be as upset as usual if we lost the nba finals. best of luck
These are the best videos or conversations in basketball. The idea of the alpha is just so satisfying to talk about. Jxmy should make a list of these players, and also players you don't trash talk
Still absurd how we're still getting disrespected. 2006 NBA Finals Win was apparently a "ref job" by the NBA instead of putting the respect in Wade. Now they reached the Finals and people are like "it's just a lucky run". This franchise will never get the respect they deserve
Jimmy's talent is his basketball IQ. Top 5 in the NBA. To add to that he has some of the best reactions of all time. Noticing what his defender does in real time.
In this video he says Jimmy butler ain't even close to as talent as Jason Tatum haha no wad Jimmy buckets is a dawg and jt can throw up shots and rely on his height but besides that's he's got no game atm shooting 3s and drives is basic shit
Facts some of those steals in the ECF were just amazing basketball IQ and was just great to watch in my opinion great hoops i hope we get an exciting finals no sweep please
I stamp that. The killer mentality that Kobe had was definitely infectious. Derek Fisher was hitting game winners and making unbelievable plays for a guy that most dismiss.
Jimmy has held my respect since I realized the media was just on his head. He only wanted what was best for his team and he wanted to WIN. I love Jimmy, even if he goes down in these finals. he and this Heat have been somethin special

The last quarter of the video had me literally tearing up. You really can’t describe it. Its not nostalgia. Those “you had to be there” moments, when you had a man on your side who rose to the occassion and wouldn’t blink. Win or lose, you turn off the game satisfied that there wasn’t an ounce more they could’ve given. In a game today that has even the most average player going home to 8 figure estates, the level of grit we’re seeing from Butler and the Heat is unheard of
5:25 this is exactly what it is. When people talk about great players this isn't a part of it. Skill doesnt mean shit when players dont show up when it matters. Tatum and Brown disapeard while less talented players step up. When you have an all time great, with the right mentality, like Kobe, they're going to be a goat.
Mamba Mentality = chucking up inefficient shots. Kobe is by far the most overrated player in history when we truly analyse how poor his overall game is
@@kyriejames5001 I'd honestly say he's well above average with the balls to chuck them. Kobe is basically a supreme version of jordan poole, jordan clarkson, Jr Smith, jamal Crawford, Nick Young ect. Basically an above average quality bucket getter with grade A defense
@@kor6bigtime592 😂. He has a better true shooting percentage than Tim Duncan and shot 47 percent with Shaq that's about the average of all elite shooting gaurds Reggie, Vince, mac, kyrie, Clyde, not sure about wade but I think him too. If he shot the same as Kobe he would shoot at a 38% clip. Kobe is the best tough shot maker in history there is a reason he averaged 32 points on 54 percent shooting throughout the 2009 playoffs. Kobe is inefficient is the most overblown myth in NBA history and it's not a valid criticism when you won 5 rings, 2 finals MVPs and an MVP being "inefficient"
@@tridra5714 The Lakers lost more often than not when he took over two dozen shots. It became really noticeable during the 2010-2011 season. Also he was, by his own admission, a sociopath that no one wanted to play with after the Dwight Howard fiasco.

When he ended this video with how a player reacts to losing, I was so expecting the last clip to be Jimmy after Game 7 last year, “We’re gonna be right back in this same situation, and we’re gonna get it done.”

2:36 As a boston celtics hater, this instantly became my favorite clip on this channel. I visit this clip every week so I can relive the joy I felt when the heat were sweeping the celtics
Martin is overrated watch KCP hold him to 3 ppg in the finals. The East is weak on defense is why Martin shot the lights out. Meanwhile the west don’t fk around like that.
@@BobbyP5985 Weak defence? You mean when Martin lit up the celtics, who were so "weak" defensively that they were the 2nd highest rated defensive team in the regular season and 3rd highest in the playoffs? Delusional
Been looking Forward to this episode since I learnt the Heat won. This is my first season as a basketball fan and I owe it all to you Jimmy. I stumbled upon your videos in the off season this year and quickly fell in love with them and basketball. I'm a UK fan so I only really get to watch highlights and recaps but I have loved this season and I can't wait for the next one!
One of the best videos i have seen in my entire life. Bro thank you so much for this. It's true.. PLAYOFF JIMMY truly went off this series and Miami is up there thanks to his contagious winning spirit. Never waved whether it was a game or interview. When I saw him smile when they were 3-3, like Stephen a I thought was over, I saw Jimmy smile in the interview and I saw Kobe for a moment. I don't know why.. what transpired in that moment was the fearlessness of one of the best leaders the game has seen. Such a crazy playoff, 8th seed in NBA finals.. keeping the winning mentality after losing 3 games in a row. 8seed vs 1seed . Go Miami go!!
Thanks for articulating something very important: grit, determination and integrity - to something that lies beyond your own narrow field of view that's what inspires. Teammates as much as fans as much as kids to lace up. In every team there's that one player you know will shine once the chips are down - you may be surprised who's stepping up when it's time, however you also instinctively know which one it's not!
Casuals will say this is not an interesting matchup, but it’s nice to see two lower profile teams face off and get the credit they deserve. May the better team win.
Casuals wanted a Boston/LA finals. True BASKETBALL fans will appreciate this finals. The nuggets are arguably the best/most complete team. The heat are the hottest (pun) team with a guy who will not take no for an answer. One has a 2 time MVP who really should have won 3. The other has a TRUE alpha and his team ready to brawl
@@a_coleman11 well documented, and to double down on your comment, these casuals won't like it all.. I wanted to see Chicago vs OKC in 2012/13 heat vs nugs in covid season and heat vs nugs this year. I can't wait for true hoops

Fully agree but what i dont get is why ppl act like a lot of players used to have this mentality. Its always been a rare thing. Theres a reason guys like MJ, Kobe, Bron etc dont come around that often. A lot of players are talented coming into the league, but how many have the will and determination to keep working and fighting no matter if they win or lose? Not many

This was a great video. It made me emotional all over again. Last year's playoffs were epic. I loved watching Jimmy Bulter once again, year after year, lead his team to the highest levels...and still be the underdog. Plus Nuggets vs Lakers as such well coached teams was unforgettable.
Yeah, Nuggets are the better underdog story, they never won a finals and this is their actual first appearance. Heat already have multiple titles, Jokic deserves it more.

One of my favorite quotes: "Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser". - Bobby Knight. I'm not saying that you should through a tantrum or make a spectacle of yourself when you lose, but it does really personally make you sick when you lose if you are going to get better. I think this is one of the best videos that Jxmy has done, especially the part when he said you need to look at how players react to loss, not just wins. I am one of the best pinball players in the world, and when I'm in a tournament and on my game, I absolutely hate it when I lose, it almost makes me physically ill. There were times early in my career when I would feel other things when I lost, the worst of which were hopelessness and relief, but I decided that I wanted to be a competitor and continue to improve and strengthen my competitive mentality, and it worked. Having a sharp killer instinct means that you compete with the sole mindset of winning and doing whatever you can to win. That's how the Heat are playing right now. Its pretty amazing that a team that was in the finals in the bubble and was 1 game away from the Finals last year, can be such an underdog this year, Lets see how the Nuggets react after their first time being punched in the mouth by the Heat. Its the first adversity that they've faced in the postseason, and we really have no idea of how they will handle it, but my money is on the Heat!
That's why i'm so excited for these finals, most thing said in this video about Miami can be said about Denver, Jokic has never played with an all star, the team doesnt make excuses and have had bad injury luck, I feel like it's their time, just depends how much Miami can push it to them.
Nah it’s miamis time this is Denver’s first time here spo and jimmy didn’t come this far to get this far the nuggs will def be a problem for years to come but this is miamis yesr imo
Horrible take, Jamal Murray is an all star and their closer. Nuggets have done a good job of surrounding Jokic with talent. It’s a travesty that Butler wasn’t an all star this year, and his teammates are mostly undrafted players primarily due to injuries. I do believe that Spoelstra is a superior coach and he will figure out a way to win this thing

Saw and experienced this at every level of basketball. One of my greatest memories was playing in a pickup game at college on open gym night. The college team players dropped by to see what was going on. Many of us were in awe at the talent in the gym, having watched them in many games. They decided to play a few games with us "scrubs". Myself and 4 other moderately capable players matched up. Just be we started we came together and said "give it everything", all the while expecting a thorough beating. But, we fought for every possession, rebound, steal, and block. We dove, scrambled, and sprinted. And we found ourselves up by five. The college team players were a bit surprised and perplexed. We saw them mentally change gears. The fouls got harder. The drives more aggressive. The intensity kept rising. In the end we lost by 2. Everyone was winded and drenched. It was awesome! Give me 5 guys with some skills and a mountain of heart and determination any day. The Heat are where the Warriors used to be. Problem is, I want both Denver and Miami to get their rings this year...
I really love both of the teams going into the Finals for what they're doing together for the sport. Lakers vs Celtics looks good on paper and I think Jokic is unstoppable but that's the whole narrative for the Heat
Dude I love your videos Jxmy. You're better at this than the overwhelming amount of sports media personalities who just regurgitate the same crap. I need an NFL version of you though. Keep it man, you're awesome, and thank you for putting out good NBA content..

I think we're going to see this killer mentality with Ant soon. He looked like he was willing to die to take a game off Denver this postseason and he basically made it happen solo, and he has the talent to back that up. Hopefully he can get some teammates that arent soft
Once Ant improves his shot selection and rounds out his offensive game more he’s gonna be a perennial mvp candidate. He’s got that dawg in him and could definitely be the face of the league in the future
This is definitely one of the craziest playoffs in the entire NBA history. 2nd 8th seed to reach the finals, Denver making it's first finals appearance, Sacramento's first playoffs since 2007, and multiple players scoring 50 points or more.
Sacramento v Golden State seems so long ago
You must be very very young. To say craziest in history you would have to be. I'm guessing at most you are 25 or younger.
Not to mention those 50 point games coming in game 7s
I don’t watch much celtics ball. But what makes tatum more talented than butler?

It's funny hearing him talk about how he didn't really dream of hitting a game 7 buzzer beater in the finals, because he "was never really that good at basketball". He wasn't a super talented guy with the why as a limit. He had to work for everything he has achieved. And of course even generational talents like Lebron also worked hard - but almost everyone we're comparing Butler to these days, were highly rated 1st round picks. Honestly Jokic is the closest parallel as someone who only really became this good when he worked his ass off and got into shape.

That kobe story is something else man. Dude was a killer

This is going to be a tough series
Jokic is a competitive psychopath who pretends he barely cares. Dangerous
Watching Nuggets v Suns game 4 proved Jokic has that mentality. Booker and Durant were scorching hot for a combined 72 points, Jokic responded by dropping 53 single handedly. Nuggets still lost but the Joker kept them in it the whole time

Spoelstra was molded and hardened by an old school basketball mentor.

Im actually kind of glad the heat won. From a talent perspective, especially without herro who gives them nearly 20 points per game it wasnt close. The heat seemed to just WANT it more, ran though the bucks, knicks, and celtics. They seemed to will out victories in games 1,2, and 3.

The only time I’ve been mad at Spo is not playing Martin more in last year’s ECF. I bet his per 36 was somewhat similar
Delusional
@@BobbyP5985 🤡
@@nanashi7779 clown comment it doesn’t surprise me one bit.
jimmy jimmy jimmy.. you never fail to amaze me with your sheer level of delivery and entertainment and i ain’t talking about butler
Feel like every compliment given to the Heat is backhanded lmao. As a Nuggets fan, I’ve been there. Hoping for an exciting series!
Chills bruh....chills. I think this may have been your best video to date. Got me amped to see the finals.
"Winning is not guaranteed but if we are going down, we are going down swinging." THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE CELTICS MISS!!!!!
Love it when a Jimmy video gives you the chills. This was yet another great one
idk why but tears were welling up in my eyes
If Jimmy wins, Jimmy will indeed be talking about Jimmy’s ring.
I never heard people said the finals didnt interesting, just saying.
@@a_coleman11 well documented, and to double down on your comment, these casuals won't like it all..
I wanted to see Chicago vs OKC in 2012/13 heat vs nugs in covid season and heat vs nugs this year. I can't wait for true hoops
@@kor6bigtime592any basketball teams fighting for a title is true hoops
@@a_coleman11 they also have 1 of the Mt Rushmore in BBALL as their GM, and a guy who literally started at the bottom as their coach who consistently shows year after year that he wants to win
Jimmy and the heat have created the greatest underdog story and we are all loving it
And also showed the younger generation that grit and determination and the will to not lose is a real thing, and people down play it alot on debates
This was such a good take on Jimmy and what is setting him apart from 99.9% of all other players currently! That mental drive and determination is visible in him, when it lacks in most others!
Not many
tim getting his respect in all time great convos makes me so happy as a spurs fan
this video gave me chills. it was such a wild ride this whole eastern conference finals. jobs not done yet, 4 more to go
10:08... I totally agree... Not an ounce of 'killer instinct' in him...
Are you trying to imply lebron of all players doesn't have killer instinct especially with THAT infamous clip you just highlighted? Really?
@@sontho6995 yup... he acts all tough when his team is up by a large margin... but when all the chips are down and his team is losing, he runs to the locker and cries his a$$ off... 😆 (by the way, the video creator implied it and highlighted that clip, not me)
@@jasonescudero3185 That clip is from when he was down 2-3 against the kg celtics and pulled off and won in one of the greatest game 6s ever.
@@jasonescudero3185 you really need context for clip man
Long time viewer, 1st time commenter. That practice clip of Black Cat at 8:31... immediate goosebumps. Intensity that demands your full attention. What... a... fearsome... Player. And I grew up watching the guy, never seen that particular clip before (looks like Delta Center). Great work, Jimmy.
This video gave me chills like 10 times. Love it🙏🙏
As a Heat fan and JIMMY BUTLER IS HIM STAN. This gave me goosebumps! LET'S GO HEAT. LET'S GO JIMMY BUCKETS!
Can’t express how high quality Jmxy videos are. I’m not a basketball fan I’m a soccer fan but watching jxmy videos never fail to entertain me. Usually it’s graphs and statistics but even this video giving Jimmy Butler is praise for what he’s doing didnt fail to disappoint in entraining me. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t know Jack sh*t about basketball 😅 great stuff you’re doing man
This was a great video. It made me emotional all over again. Last year's playoffs were epic. I loved watching Jimmy Bulter once again, year after year, lead his team to the highest levels...and still be the underdog. Plus Nuggets vs Lakers as such well coached teams was unforgettable.
Always making me think with your vids. You never really give a bad take because you're just asking questions. Love your vids man.
got goosebumps. I miss Kobe. RIP
As much as I love Jokic and the Nuggets I think I'll be rooting for the Heat in the finals. What an incredible underdog story it would be if they won
You’re not a nuggets fan
Bro acts like it's the 5th final in 7 years for the nuggets
Yeah, Nuggets are the better underdog story, they never won a finals and this is their actual first appearance. Heat already have multiple titles, Jokic deserves it more.
@@Kuroganemk2 The team that wants it more deserves it more
@@Kuroganemk2 yeah it’s their first appearance but the heat is the 8th seed, no mvp, and their best player has one of the most inspiring stories in sport’s history…. They have the better underdog story. The nuggets aren’t even underdogs lol
I’ve had a lot of respect for Jimmy since he came in the league. He’s from Tomball which is about an hour away from me so it was very easy to root for the local kid at first. But as his careers gone on he’s proven that he’s one of the most determined players the league has seen in a while
Jimmy’s videos are so good that I started watching the NBA again lol
me too!!
was waiting for this! i truly hope Jimmy and the heat win this but it's not going to come easy
As a Suns fan, I take great pride in seeing another great team fall apart in Game 7 at home. It brings attention away from us momentarily
I’m the finals
yall teams pretty similar now that i think of it. stacked rosters every year but never fails to barely make the conferance finals every year and chokes...
@@Foggycallabasashillshelicopter ya they always barely make it how many game 7s do they win and last year no Middleton and still a game 7 by just Brie and giannis
3:13 BROTHER. HIT A SHOT. 😂
😂😂
@@SacrificeBreedsSuccess when was Jamal an all star? He's at that level but never been one. He and Jimmy both have that killer mentality, gonna be a great great series. I'm going nuggets in 5
@@SacrificeBreedsSuccess Horrible take? you kinda just repeated what I said lmao, I know denver have done a great job recruiting, but the fact is there isn't an all star... Before u start with the "jamal murray" argument, just look up how many times he's been an All star ;)
Funny reading comments 9 months later and how passionately these people believed the Heat stood any chance vs Denver.
3:56 “JALEN DRIBBLE OF MY FOOT BROWN” 😂😂😂
If Junmy wins this ring. This would be easy the greatest NBA story of all time and Maybe the greatest sports story of all time. This man deserve a documentary story asap
Nuggets in 5
It's not that big dude, did we just forget Heat were in the same situation with the same players last season? They were 1st seed as well. They must've planned their comeback from the play in
@@aaryasharma4940 but this year they were wayy worse and were a play-in team and everyone counted them out.
@@luminousrxk7288 I wouldn't call them way worse, they were just saving their best for the last

Good point. Relentlessly pursuing winning and refusing to lose is rare.
Hearing Jxmy mad for once was something I didn’t know I needed
I think we're going to see this killer mentality with Ant soon. He looked like he was willing to die to take a game off Denver this postseason and he basically made it happen solo, and he has the talent to back that up. Hopefully he can get some teammates that arent soft
That's MJ's genes after all
I think this is the time MJ needs to start talking about his long lost kids. Might be more out there 😂
Once Ant improves his shot selection and rounds out his offensive game more he’s gonna be a perennial mvp candidate. He’s got that dawg in him and could definitely be the face of the league in the future
