Booster 200 to 300W? Are you sure? My interpretation of the datasheet is different. It says "Booster Mode - The instant full power output of 210W" . Where did you obtain the 300W figure from please?
Hey thx for the revue I did purchase it some month ago...yeah kind of magenta...but if you are using IR cut like me is compensate some of the green cast it can give you...
At least in Europe no bi color light you can buy for 220€ with 300W output...it is a steal...less than 1€ pro Watt...
True. As long as you have the time and are willing to use gels, most lights can be adjusted. It just takes a little more work. But not an awful light for the price.

any stands you recommend for this one? i bought 2, and none of the stands i bought can hold it up or secure properly. The one in your description is no longer available.
Adorama sells the new version of the ones that I have. Linco 10 Feet Senior Compact Light Stand
hi, i found ur review helpful but i just want to let you know you actually can control the effects more within the app. as in speed or flickers
I think I knew that. However, I stopped reviewing apps as they were taking too much space on my phone. But thanks for letting me know.
You mentioned that there was better for the price. Which ones are better in your opinion? It sounds like you primarily do video, would this suffice for basic headshot and portrait still photography light output wise?
This would work. You will have to adjust the camera settings or gel the light in order to get a more accurate color temp. Or you can adjust your image in post. Using a light meter or spectrometer will also help with balancing the light.
@@Ranger7Studios you mentioned in the video there were better for the same kind of money. Can you tell me which those are so I can look at those as well?
Where can I buy the color correction gel? And which one do I need for 1.5? I'm new to cob lighting
Just returning these lights to Amazon. Cannot fault build quality but the 200w without the booster is useless. You cant even place the outer diffuser on, as you lose too much light. Add the black modifier, and its even worse.
True. If more power is what you need, I would look at a 300 or 500w light. It also depends on how thick the diffusion is. Neewer is not one of my favorite companies. They really make beginner/bargen lights.
No ballast for v-mount? What table top baby pin tripod thing is that?!
Nope. It's a budget light. :/ Baby pin is by impact. Tripod is an ifootage.
I think for $20 more getting the Aputure would be more ideal. and ah ok I thought maybe it was a single system you had bought; I’ll look into those because those would be great for putting my arri lights on the ground for music videos instead of a flat board
Good review! Very good to know that it skews magenta by 1.5 (I'd noticed the magenta skew in mine, but don't know how to measure it).
